NHL DFS: 10/15/22

The first week of the NHL ends with an all-out scrum of 14 games (12 games in the main slate). We only have a game or two of data to mine, so navigating such a large slate can be daunting.  We are going with hot offenses and avoiding most back-to-back teams this early in the season.

Top Teams to Target

Pittsburgh Penguins – The penguins have started the season firing on all cylinders and we will ride the adrenaline as long as we can.  Tampa comes to town on the second half of a back-to-back and will play a backup goalie.

Boston Bruins – Coming off a big win on opening night Boston is well rested and have the lowly Coyotes coming to town. This may be the most lopsided game of the night.

St. Louis Blues – This is the Blues’ first game of the season.  With few changes from last year, their top 2 lines still look dominant. They face Columbus on the second game of a back-to-back.

San Jose Sharks – The Chicago Blackhawks are entering the Shark Tank.
