The Houston Chronicle's Jonathan M. Alexander reports Tank Dell (knee) "will more than likely miss the 2025 season and be placed on the physically unable to perform list."
NBC Houston's Aaron Wilson provided us with our last update Dell's recovery processes back in mid-February, when Dell's ACL reconstruction was reportedly pending after successful LCL and MCL operations. Per Alexander, Dell underwent ACL reconstruction in early March, beginning the countdown for a potential return in 12 months or less. Returning to play sometime in Spring 2026 would allow Dell to rejoin the team in time for all offseason workouts and organized team activities and, hopefully, set him up for a bounce-back season later that year.
