Waiver Hub – Week 13
Happy Tuesday, Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB.
Week 13 is approaching with 3 mouthwatering matchups for Thanksgiving! We get Packers/Lions, Chiefs/Cowboys, and Bengals/Ravens. Not to mention Bears/Eagles on Black Friday.
Fantasy football is going strong, so it is time to make some moves and prepare for fantasy post season greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here is another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.
Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off waivers.
TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK
Devin Neal – New Orleans Saints
With Alvin Kamara having a below average season by his standards and his recent MCL sprain in his knee, next man up has been Devin Neal. Neal had 12 touches resulting in 7 carries for 18 yards and 5 receptions for 43 yards. It is unclear is Kamara will miss time, but he is shaken up, and Neal should keep his recent workload or get an even bigger on the Saints struggling offense. Helps he has a soft schedule to look forward to.
Quarterbacks
Jacoby Brissett – Arizona Cardinals
Jacoby Brissett is back in the QB waiver section and for good reason. He has 250+ passing yards in every game he has started with 2 passing TDs in all but 1 of those games. He has been quick on his feet and keeping his team in every game. If you are struggling to find a QB this week, Jacoby gets the Tampa Bay average defense.
Running Backs
Kyle Monangai – Chicago Bears
Monangai may be in the backfield along the likes of D’Andre Swift, but he has held his own and some. Kyle has a rushing TD in 3 consecutive games and has double digit carries in 3 of his last 4. He has some tough matchups brewing but is worth the add.

Wide Receivers
Chimere Dike – Tennessee Titans
Dike has been a name all year I have looked at as he has had some impressive performances. In week 12 he caught 5 of his 7 targets resulting in 44 yards and a receiving TD. He also is an impressive kick returner scoring another TD in week 12 from that. He has 4 TDs total this year. Dike has been the best pass catcher for the rookie Cam Ward, and their chemistry is growing noticeably.
John Metchie – New York Jets
John Metchie has had quite the year traveling from team to team but landing on the Jets. The speedy receiver has jumped right into action due to injuries and lack of immediate talent for the Jets. He has scored a TD in both weeks 11 and 12 and in those 2 games he has a total of 9 receptions for 110 yards. He is looking like WR1 while Wilson is on IR.
Tight Ends
Brenton Strange – Jacksonville Jaguars
Strange returned from injury in week 12 and ended up being the Jaguars leading pass catcher. He finished with 5 targets, 5 receptions, and 93 receiving yards.
