The Chalk Board | DFS Ownership Pivots

Moving off the chalk has always been a guide to success in DFS. Let’s explore what the simulation and projected ownership say about where we can pivot from the public and gain an edge on the field.

Quarterbacks
Lamar and Allen are well above the rest of the chalk. Everyone else is mixed and matched. You can never go wrong with either. Maye and Baker are nice pivots, and you can save some money with Dart, Goff, or Williams. I know I have said over and over he’s not an NFL-ready QB, but I feel like Baltimore is going to put up 35+ and JJ will be throwing close to 40 times.

Top End Pivots:
Maye
Baker

Mid Range Targets:
Dart
Goff
Darnold

Tipsy Pick:
McCarthy

Running Backs
Four guys lead the way with 20-45% projected ownership. I can’t argue against any of them. Rico, Achane, CMC, and Cook. You can easily pivot up if you want, with a bounce-back spot for Gibbs, or save some money with Kyler, Judkins, or Swift. Deeper value can be had with Henderson, Monty (though highly owned), and ETN. I am in on Aaron Jones. The Vikings need to score and try to keep the ball away from Lamar, and they seem ready to feed him if healthy. The Sims don’t love him, the Baltimore D has been better, but I got a feeling…

Top End Pivots:
Gibbs

Mid Range Targets:
Kyler
Judkins
Swift

Value Targets:
Monty
Henderson

Tipsy Pick:
Aaron Jones (if he plays)

Wide Receivers
There is a highly concentrated list of chalk this week. Great Chalk: JSN, Puka, St. Brown. Solid Chalk: Egbuka, Flowers. Iffy Chalk: Shakir. Easy pivots are Rome, who should have an absolute comeback game of the week, Adam, Jefferson, and Waddle in nice spots, and rounding out with Diggs, Olave, and Wan’Dale in condensed target spots due to trades and injuries. I am back on Parker Washington with the focus on Meyers joining the squad.

Top End Pivots:
Jefferson
Adams

Mid Range Targets:
Egbuka
Waddle
Rome
Diggs

Value Plays:
Harrison
Wan’Dale

Tipsy:
Parker Washington

Tight Ends
Chalk tight ends have really been money all year. It hasn’t been hard to get production here. Kittle, McBride, Kincaid, LaPorta, Theo Johnson, they all make sense. We can attack with Juwan Johnson with Shakir out; we can look at Andrews and Hockenson in a high-scoring environment. Lots of options to fit your budget.

Top End Pivots:
If you have the money, just play McBride

Mid Range Targets:
Kittle
Kincaid
Andrews

Values:
J Johnson
T Johnson
Njoku
Schultz

Tipsy:
Likely
