Waiver Hub – Week 10
Happy Tuesday, Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB.
Week 10 is just days away with a matchup on TNF between the Raiders and the Broncos. The home team Broncos are currently favored by 9.5 with a point over/under of 41.5.
Fantasy football is up and running, so it is time to make some moves and prepare for fantasy post season greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here is another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.
Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off waivers.
TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK
Colston Loveland – Chicago Bears
Colston Loveland got everyone’s attention on Sunday when he blew up scoring his first 2 TDs of his NFL career. He caught 6 of his 7 receptions and finished with 118 receiving yards. He gets the Giants next and should continue to get more opportunity with Caleb Williams and the Bears offense.
Quarterbacks
Joe Flacco – Cincinnati Bengals
Flacco just keeps outdoing himself. If only that translated to wins. He had 470 passing yards on Sunday and threw for 4 TDs. He has over 1000 passing yards since he joined the Bengals 3 weeks ago and a total of 9 passing TDs and a rising score. He has a week 10 BYE, but 2 of his next 3 opponents are the Steelers and Ravens who at times their defenses look bad but also at times great.
Running Backs
Devin Singletary – New York Giants
After Skattebo went down it was a race to pick up Tyrone Tracy Jr but not so fast, Singletary has entered the chat. In week 9 Singletary had 3 more carries than Tracy and finished with 42 rushing yards compared to Tracy’s 18. Both will be used going forward but Singletary is one to watch given the circumstances.
Dylan Sampson – Cleveland Browns
Dylan Sampson is a must add handcuff if you are a Judkins owner, and a sneaky add in case Judkins is out. We have seen Sampson succeed without Judkins, especially in the pass catching department. Keep an eye on Judkins status. Sampson also gets return yards if your league allows.
Wide Receivers
Demario Douglas – New England Patriots
Demario Douglas continues to surprise for New England and is helping Maye get MVP hype. Boutte is day to day with a hammy injury giving Douglas more opportunity. He hit 100 receiving yards for the 1st time this season and caught his 3rd TD this season. Patriots remaining schedule is favorable for opposing WRs.
Parker Washington – Jacksonville Jaguars
No Travis Hunter, no problem? Well let us not go too far. Parker played great with a more involved role on the offense. He had his best week of the season catching 8 of his 9 targets for 90 yards. He has 19 targets in his last 2 games.
Tight Ends
Colston Loveland – Chicago Bears
