Waiver Hub – Week 7

Happy Tuesday, Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB.
Week 7 is in just a couple of days with a matchup between the 4-1 Steelers and the 2-4 Bengals. Steelers are favored by 5.5 with a point total over/under of 42.5.
Fantasy football is up and running, so it is time to make some moves and prepare for fantasy post season greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here is another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.
Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off waivers.
TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK
Kimani Vidal – LA Chargers
Kimani Vidal ended the discussion of who will fill in for Omarion Hampton when he rushed 18 times for 124 yards. If that was not enough, he caught 3 passes for 14 more yards and scored a receiving TD. Haskins was the only other threat at HB and that diminished in week 6 with a 14-yard rushing and 9 yard receiving performance. Ride Vidal until Hampton returns.
Quarterbacks
Jaxson Dart – New York Giants
Dart keeps on making bing plays and led his team to a huge upset win over the defending champion Eagles. Dart has 3 starts in his early career, but in each of those games he has rushed for 50+ yards and had at least 2 total TDs. He rushes them in, and he passes them in. He has Denver and then Philly again, but it is hard to pass him up with his rushing upside if you need the help at QB.
Running Backs
Bam Knight – Arizona Cardinals
Bam Knight might not be displayed at RB1 on any depth charts, but he led Arizona in carries in week 6 and has a rushing TD in back-to-back games. He also has a catch for double digit yardage in each of his last 2 games. Bam has been the best overall RB since all the RB injuries in Arizona. Green Bay might be a challenge and then a BYE week, but after that there is a higher number of easier defenses to face.

Wide Receivers
Kendrick Bourne – San Francisco 49ers
Bourne mimicked his week 5 performance of 142 receiving yards by doing the same thing in week 6, 142 receiving yards. He has 20 targets in his last 2 games and has taken over as the best pass catcher for the 49ers in the absence of so many good pass catchers. Mac Jones clearly favored Bourne and will continue to if circumstances continue.
Kayshon Boutte – New England Patriots
Boutte had 103 receiving yards in week 1 and then had a TD in week 2. Since then, we have not heard much from him until week 6. Boutte caught all his team leading 5 targets and tallied 93 receiving yards and 2 TD receptions. It is difficult to rely on a Patriots pass catcher, but the Patriots next few opponents are not to be worried about defending WRs.
Tight Ends
Harold Fannin Jr – Cleveland Browns
Fannin was targeted 10 times in week 6 and caught 7 of them for 81 yards. All career highs for TJ rookie. Since Dillon Gabriel started for the Browns at QB in weeks 5 & 6, Fannin has a total of 14 targets, 11 receptions, 94 receiving yards, and a receiving TD. He should be able to find success against the Dolphins in week 7.
