Trade Hub – Week 5
Welcome back! It is Monday so it is time to talk trades in my weekly Trade Hub article. Mike here ready as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances of winning your fantasy league. I hope your season is going well, but even if is not, there is plenty of season to go.
Week 4 finishes up tonight with another double header MNF. First the Jets take on the Dolphins in a battle for who can get their first win. Then we get the Bengals and the Broncos. Miami is favored by 2.5 and Denver is favored by 7.5. Both games have an over/under point total of 44.5. My predictions for these games are a 24-23 win for the Jets and a 27-13 win for the Broncos.
Always make sure you are aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 5 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.
PLAYERS TO BUY
TJ Hockenson – Minnesota Vikings
Hockenson has seen his most playing time in a while and continues to be under the radar. I would try to buy him low while his playing time is stellar and his targets are average. Carson Wentz seems to like TJ and JJ should continue to grow with him when he eventually returns to QB1.
Harold Fannin Jr – Cleveland Browns
Fannin once again out targeted his teammate TE David Njoku for the Browns. 3 out of the 4 games this season he has as many or more targets than Njoku. The Browns continue to use multiple TE packages and Joe Flacco has been throwing the 2nd most passing attempts this season thus far in the NFL. I think that won’t change so Fannin should have a lot of opportunity in this offense, especially with Cedric Tillman banged up this week. Buy very low.
PLAYERS TO SELL
Dalton Kincaid – Buffalo Bills
Kincaid caught a TD in week 4 which saved him from having a bad week. He was only targeted twice, and his TD reception was his only reception. Jackson Hawes has also been targeted once a week starting to cut into Kincaid’s playing time. The Bills top 2 targeted pass catchers this season are Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir.
Justice Hill – Baltimore Ravens
Hill had a hell of a week 4. He only carried the ball 3 times but broke a very long run resulting in a TD and 76 rushing yards. Not only that, but he caught 5 receptions for 41 receiving yards and another TD. He has 40+ receiving yards in back-to-back games. The problem is that this week was very uncharacteristic with the Ravens losing by 17 points. Derrick Henry did not see the field toward the end of the game giving Hill a lot more volume. That shouldn’t be the case moving forward with a healthy Henry. Sell him sky high.
