Happy Tuesday October 22, Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football throughout the season.
MNF last night ended with a Ravens victory over Tampa by a score of 41-31 with plenty of fantasy stats to go around but none more convincing than Lamar Jackson and his 5 TD passes. Some other notable stats include Mark Andrews scoring 2 times, Rashod Bateman had 121 receiving yards, king Henry ran for 169 rushing yards, Cade Otton had 100 receiving yards, and Baker threw for 370 yards. The other MNF game ended with a Cardinals victory over the Chargers by a score of 17-15. Justin Herbert threw for 349 yards and James Connor ran for 101 yards. Next week’s MNF matchup will be between the Giants and the Steelers.
It’s time to make some moves and prepare for fantasy post season greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here’s another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.
Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Go get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off of waivers.
TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK
Tua Tagovailoa – Miami Dolphins
Tua is set to return to the field this week for Miami. He gets a rather soft schedule playing the Cardinals, the Rams, and the Raiders in 3 of his next 4 games. Tua is obviously injury prone, but when he plays, he can light it up. Tyreek Hill might be the happiest person next game knowing he has a QB that he has chemistry with and vastly improves with. Tua threw for 338 yards in his only full game this season. Tua can help your fantasy team if you have the room on your bench or need a starting QB immediately.

Bucky Irving: Nets 80 all-purpose yards in loss
Irving rushed seven times for 24 yards and secured all three targets for 10 yards in the Buccaneers' 30-24 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Monday night. He also returned one kickoff for 46 yards.

Kansas City got lucky on the game-deciding drive

Mecole Hardman caught all three targets for 17 yards in the Chiefs' Week 9 win over the Buccaneers.
Hardman departed in the first quarter following a hard fall on the sidelines on a punt return, initially listed as questionable to return. He would start the second half with the team and eventually secure all three targets for a modest 17 yards. He also saw a red zone carry that was called back for offensive holding. Even so, Hardman's fantasy utility in an offense now with DeAndre Hopkins is fleeting, at best.

Justin Watson caught 3-of-4 targets for 43 yards in the Chiefs' Week 9 win over the Buccaneers.
Watson continues to play the most snaps at wide receiver for the Chiefs but took a backseat to both Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins, the former of whom set a career-high with 14 receptions and the latter of whom scored twice in the overtime victory. Even so, Watson should continue to see elevated snap rates based on the currently available personnel on the roster, albeit still unlikely to return fantasy utility in the process.
(Nov 5 -- NBC Sports)
Xavier Worthy failed to catch either of his two targets in the Chiefs' Week 9 win over the Buccaneers, losing 10 yards on two carries.
Worthy was far from emphasized against the Buccaneers after an early mistake cost the team seven points. Worthy appeared to score on the team's opening possession from 33 yards out but he was ultimately ruled out of bounds after failing to get both feet down in the field of play, something that appeared to come with some level of nonchalance. Instead of ensuring both feet were inbounds, Worthy caught the ball while backpedalling towards the left pylon, both heels clipping the white paint along the sideline. Head coach Andy Reid was clearly aggravated with the rookie wide receiver during his halftime interview as the team departed the field of play, something that could have influenced his usage in the second half. Cementing his fantasy dud was a failed end around in the third quarter, on which he lost 10 yards. Worthy's next opportunity to return fantasy utility comes in Week 10 against the stout Denver secondary.
