The Athletic's Jon Machota believes CB DaRon Bland will "play more on the inside" with the loss of CB Jourdan Lewis.
Bland played the slot predominantly in his rookie season, but since then has just 123 defensive snaps (of 1,456 total) in the slot over the past two years per PFF. This likely leaves Shavon Revel Jr. and Kaiir Elam as the main outside corners. In fantasy terms: outside receivers are likely to be more successful against the Cowboys this year based on them moving their best corner into the nickel role on passing downs.

ESPN's Adam Teicher believes the Chiefs "have plans" for RB Brashard Smith.
The Chiefs showcased Smith's versatility by "getting him the ball out of the backfield, from the slot and split out wide" in early offseason activities. The Chiefs don't currently have a better answer for "who will catch the ball out of the backfield?" on their roster with Samaje Perine off the roster. Current third-stringer Elijah Mitchell has just 28 catches in three seasons, while Kareem Hunt has slowed down since his days as Cleveland's best third-down back. It's certainly possible that Smith carves out a role in the backfield sooner rather than later.
