Happy New Year! We are entering the home stretch on Showdowns for this year. Tonight we have a battle between 2 divisional foes who both prefer to run the ball, Pittsburgh and Baltimore. Not an exciting game, but we will try to find that slate buster.
Captain/MVP Picks
Najee Harris
I am expecting tonight’s game to be fought on the ground since we have a couple of below-average Quarterbacks starting. I prefer Harris because he is Kenny Pickett’s bail-out pass catcher, whereas JK Dobbins does not get a ton of targets.
FLEX Picks
JK Dobbins
Dobbins ran for 120 yards and a TD last time these teams met and Pittsburgh has suffered some injuries on Defense since then. Tyler Huntley has not looked good since replacing Lamar Jackson and I expect the Ravens to focus on the run.
Gus Edwards
Not a conventional build, but I think Baltimore os so committed to the run both backs are in play. Last week Edwards split carries with Dobbins but rushed for more yards. He is a better pass catcher and if Dobbins gets hurt he will dominate the carries. He is also inexpensive for a RB and can easily make value.
Diontae Johnson
I think you can go multiple ways here with Johnson, Pickett, or Pickens, but I think Diontae has the highest floor. In the last few weeks, Pickett and Johnson have gotten into a rhythm, with Diontae scoring 11, 14, 20 and 14 DK points the last 4 games. If Pittsburgh falls behind this will be the number 1 target.

Defenses and Kickers
I see 2 paths and I will be playing both. My main lineup will have the Ravens’ defense and Justin Tucker because they are the home favorite. If you think the Steelers will pull this out, play their defense with Chris Boswell.
