Tipsy Picks Week 12

Extreme Values. Miracle dependent plays. One-off shots off the beaten path!

You’ll need a few beers or a stiff pour of bourbon to stomach these picks…

I am going to concentrate on just a guy or two for each position. Have real conviction in my craziness…

Tipsy QBs
Phillip Rivers $6,100 vs TEN (2.4%)
I can’t believe we have higher ownerships on guys like Daniel Jones, Kirk Cousins, Tua… Phillip has been solid ever since a few early game struggles and this team is ready to keep rolling right along in a divisional game against a Titans Defense that is giving up points and struggling to put pressure on the QB with the second worst sack rate in the league. All this points to a game with scoring potential that is severely underowned on the Indy side. Pair him up with Hines and be ready to see the top of your GPP leaderboards.

BONUS: Mike Glennon @ CLE – any starting QB that is going to be behind and needing to throw all game at under 5k is worth a look in multi lineup builds. I wish he had CHark to throw to but only costing $4600 and top targets being near bottom pricing will free up space for the big plays you want to get in there.

Under Owned Favorites:
Give me all the KYLER MURRAY as the tenth most owned QB at 5%… yes please.

Tipsy RBs

Nyheim Hines $4,600 vs TENN (3.80%)
He won’t exactly go under owned but I like his upside more than James White and Brian Hill around the same price point. Were you really considering Gurley this week? If so I guess the drop in price to Hill makes sense but ownership will be high and I like a guy that already has shown 20+ point upside in the right game scripts, and this is the right situation. Lock him in with Rivers above and see the savings you get!

Chase Edwards/Ronald Jones (both under 1%)
I don’t see any reason for either of these guys to go under 1% owned… Especially Chase at $5,300 where he has succeeded even with Drake having prime ball carrying shares. RoJo is fun to watch and if the game flows right for him against KC he will be heavily used though the $6,100 price tag probably has more to do with it than his upside.

Malcolm Perry $4,000 @ NYJ (0.1%)
Here is a real deep cut, a hold your nose and slam a pint of Jager kinda pick. Miami has proven over and over that they don’t like Matt Breida or Patrick Laird. He saw 78% snap share last week… If Gaskin doesn’t play, I am going out on a limb to say Perry scores the most fantasy points in this backfield at effectively ZERO ownership.

Other Cost Saving Options:
*James White – no Rex adds to his upside, but will be fairly owned
*Zach Moss – tough to find better tallent under 5k, I like the possibility of a breakout here

Tipsy WRs
Rashard Higgins $4,700 @ JAX (0.1%)Commanding the second most targets at WR and against an absolute bottom barrel secondary, Higgins has shown he can be effective in similar situations. The return of Chubb, pushing Hunt to more routes run has hurt him a bit but I will take WR2 upside for under 5k and nearly unowned. I love Higgins for a bounce back game similar to the game against Cinci earlier in the year.

Nelson Agholor $4,900 @ ATL (1.6%)
I rarely feel better about a guy hitting 3x value under 2% owned as I do about Nelson going into Atlanta. He’s the #1 WR in production and is a treat to score. Load him up!

Keelan Cole $3,600 @ CLE (0.1%)
Cole looks to be the #1 for Jacksonville with Chark ruled out. Getting a lead receiver team that will throw all game for under 4k and completely looked over is something I can’t ignore.

Other Cost Saving Options:
Jamison Crowder – Darnold is back and is his favorite target
Mike Williams – always under priced, always under owned

Salary Saving TEs
Trey Burton- $3,200 I like Indy this week… can you tell?
Tyler Eiffert- $2,600 Total punt play, but I like dump off options for new QB swaps

Defense
NYJ vs Miami $2100
CLE vs JAX $3100

If you wanna go low owned..

New England $2,500 vs ARI If Kyler continues to have a stiff shoulder, this could pay off nicely
