Punt Plays – DFS

Deep dives on extremely low ownership plays and punt values you might consider to be able to pay up for that extra stud. As always, play with caution and use no more than one of these under most circumstances.

Quarterbacks

DK – Get out your puke buckets. Justin Fields and Malik WIllis are making a list. Fields can run, Fields can dump off the ball, and Fields will be playing from behind in my book.  Coming in at $5400 and less than 2% owned, he’s gonna have a big week at least once this year and signs lineup for the possibility. Malik is facing a bad pass defense, he gets Reed back in a game I have the pack controlling easily and you get him at $5k with under 1% ownership as of this article, if Love isn’t back of course.

FD – Kirk Cousins gets the award for least projected ownership this week on Fanduel and that’s a joke. No he isn’t flashy, yes he’s playing against KC but he has weapons and what should be a fast paced late night game. $7200 and likelihood of being the only one on him? I’ll take it. Andy Dalton sneaks in as well with the all wrinkles team in Dalton, Thielen and Diontae Johnson. Don’t count em out at basement pricing of $6000.

Running Backs
DK – coming in at under 1% owned so far in sims is Javonte Williams at $5400. I have him with just as the highest chance to 4x his salary in the $5k range and a player that has shown flash in years past. I think he is the more talented in that backfield split and could have a chance to catch some dump offs as they struggle from behind for most the game.

FD – I like Williams just as much here with a shout out to Carson Steele maybe getting a couple goal line opportunities to rack up his score.

Wide Receivers
DK – I’m calling out Ladd McConkey this week. I low key think the Chargers are winning this game and also believe the rookie to have the most talent on that team. $5000 is a little high for Tipsy Picks but with near zero ownership and a projection of nearly 20 points in my books I’m taking a dart here. I have throwing back some Tipsy love for Jalen Nailor $4400 and Adam Thielen $5000 while I’m at it.

FD – McConkey is even a touch more expensive over on Fanduel but I am sticking with the pick and going straight to my prop bet darling of week 2 in Ray Ray McCloud. Seems the late game really doesn’t pull ownership, which is fine by me as I love the late night hammer.

Tight Ends
DK/FD – Not a ton of punt plays this week so I will stick with my main article play of Hurst on both sites

Defenses
DK – The Vikings have had a big scoring defense so far this year and I am picking them as my upset of the week.

FD – Atlanta has played tough D at home and I like this to be a closer game than some think. Without Pacheco, Mahomes will be making more tosses and that means more opportunities for sacks and turnovers.
