Chalk Board | Ownership Pivots

It’s the eve of my favorite day of football! Let’s take a look at the chalk and see what’s good and where we need to pivot.

Quarterbacks

Brock Purdy seems to be popular and with no surprise as his price per point value is certainly nice when Trent Williams is healthy. Coming in second highest owned is Jared Goff and with weapons like St. Brown and LaPorta I can’t blame people, truly either is a fine option. But coming in 3rd highest owned is Dak Prescott who has been on a path to prove he’s an elite QB in the league. If I’m getting Dak and Lamb less owned than Purdy/Aiyuk and Goff/St. Brown then sign me up for all the Dallas action. If I’m playing 5 lineups, 3-4 are variations with Dak at the helm. I have him projected at 12% more points than Goff and 15% more points that Purdy.

On Fanduel Dak is far and above the most owned and I’m fully on Purdy as my pivot.

Running Backs

Yet again we see CMC as the highest owned option and yet again his potential value per dollar is the highest. There is just enough values and punts to squeeze him in and eat that Chalk. Then Brian Robinson and Tony Pollard come in next in the ownership line. I like Robinson for the price but I’m back on the fade of Pollard and I am using Gibbs and Monty everywhere, as I feel like Detroit wins with domination on the ground. I know Jones is out but I’m ridiculously uninterested in Dillon. Charbonnet is more interesting if he gets involved in the passing game as I like this to be a pretty close divisional matchup. Sneaky thought of Antonio Gibson getting back involved in a game that they will presumably be dumping off continually.

Fanduel sees CMC fall to the 3rd overall owned after Pollard and Robinson but my thoughts remain the same as above.

Wide Receivers

You’re gonna see Lamb or St. Brown is almost every lineup as they have projections double the next closest receiver. I personally prefer Lamb but I’m having a hard time fading them both so pick one and roll! To get different in the remaining wide out spots just try to avoid Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel, Christian Watson, and DK Metcalf for the most part. Reed is my guy in Green Bay, Dotson in Washington, Cooks in Dallas with flyers on Jameson Williams, Wicks and Turpin in Dallas and hope for a return TD!

Fanduel changes Jameson into too highly owned territory and brings Curtis Samuel, Reed, Lockett and JSN into the pivot conversation.

Tight Ends

If you can pay up, Kittle is simple in a smash spot as the lowest owned option of the 4 real options. Otherwise taking a punt here is just fine in all honesty, but I would rather punt a WR spot.

There is almost no leverage in the top 4 options on fandeul. They should all garner about the same ownership. Use who fits.

Defense

I mean… if you get to Dallas or 49ers do it up! I prefer Detroit after them, then I could play Green Bay if absolutely necessary.
