NFL DFS: Monday Night Football Showdown Week 11

MNF DFS Showdown
Eagles at Chiefs (-2.5)
O/U 46

We may finally have a good Primetime game tonight as we have a Super Bowl rematch between Philadelphia and Kansas City.

For Showdown analysis, this game is pretty straightforward, you have the Big 4 of Mahomes, Kelces, Hurts, and Brown. These are your Captains, but they are also the 4 most expensive players. So where can we find mid-range and cheap options?

For Philadelphia, Dallas Goedert is out, therefore a lot of people are tempted to play one of the many backup tight ends. I personally don’t see it. These tight ends are all blockers. For my money, I think you will see a slight increase in targets for Swift, Smith and Brown. Swift and Smit are good alternate Captains on Philly stacks.

For Kansas City, it’s a toss-up outside of Kelce. MVS runs the most routes and barely gets targets, but when he does they are usually deep. Noah Grey also has a surprising number of routes and is dirt cheap. Honestly if yo are running multiple lineups, rotate the KC receivers. If you are playing a single lineup, MVS has the most upside.

Both Kickers are in play tonight in respective stacks. I expect each to have 1-2 field goals.

My Favorite Plays

Travis Kelce (CPT)

Bears released RB Royce Freeman.
Freeman had only joined the Bears last week -- the veteran will probably find a practice squad by the time the week is over. The Bears also waived DB Millard Bradford, DL Xavier Carlton, DB Alex Cook, LB Power Echols, DB Kaleb Hayes, QB Austin Reed, RB Ian Wheeler, and TE Joel Wilson. Additionally they released DB Tre Flowers and OL Joshua Miles, and placed DB Zah Frazier on the NFI list.

The Athletic's Chad Graff believes TreVeyon Henderson could get "half the carries, if not more" in the Patriots' backfield.
Henderson is cited by Graff in this piece as already being New England's best offensive weapon and also notes that Henderson's ability to run between the tackles "has surprised even the highest levels of the team brass." It's hard to believe the Patriots won't find a way to make Henderson a real fantasy football contributor this year, perhaps as early as Week 1. A big role for Henderson would make the road to fantasy viability much tougher for Rhamondre Stevenson.

Bengals Resume Extension Talks With DE Trey Hendrickson
One of the NFL’s top remaining contract sagas came to an end earlier today with Terry McLaurin and the Commanders reaching an extension agreement. No such deal is imminent in Trey Hendrickson‘s case, but efforts to work one out are again underway. Negotiations between the Bengals and Hendrickson’s camp have resumed, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports. As of […]
