TNF DFS Showdown
Panthers at Bears (-3.5)
O/U 38
Trying a new format this week. Let me know in Discord what you think!
The Bears are starting a Division 2 rookie QB and it shows. With Kahlil Herbert ruled out tonight, D’onta Foreman is primed for another big game. Carolina is one of the worst rush defenses in the league and the Bears are protecting their QB by running the ball as much as possible. He will be well over 50% owned, but I think he is a must-play. Cole Kemet has emerged as a favorite target of Tyson Baget and is still low cost at $6600.
Chicago’s rush defense is among the Elite in the league, which should force Carolina to the air. Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders are still in play, as the Bears are 5th worst in allowing catches by running backs, but don’t expect a lot on the ground. With the Panthers projected to pass at a higher rate, Adam Thielen and Bryce Young are primary targets.
This is projected to be a low-scoring game bringing kickers and defenses in as a low-cost option. I prefer kickers to defense as neither team is great with interceptions or special teams.
I am also seeing ownership leaning towards a Carolina build setup, so playing more Chicago players could add leverage against the field.
