NFL DFS: Thursday Night Football Week 5

TNF DFS Showdown

Bears at Commanders (-6)

O/U 44.5

Tonight we have a banger of a game with the Chicago Bears heading to Washington. I jest of course, this sure feels like a low-scoring snooze fest.

Chicago is arguably the worst team in the NFL and Washington, while not explosive on offense has been playing tough. With this game in Washington, I am leaning toward a Commanders heavy lineup.

My Favorite Plays

Captain

RB, Brian Robinson Jr. – The Bears are the third worst defense against the run in fantasy football.  Robinson is the clear RB1 for Washington with 61 carries to Antonio Gibson’s 13.

Flex

QB, Sam Howell – You shouldn’t be surprised but the Bears are terrible against the pass too.  Howell has been slowly improving over the first part of the season, and will check down to his running backs.

QB, Justin Fields – Fields is truly the only real offensive threat for Chicago, if they let him run. Last week they unleashed him and he was a top fantasy QB. This is also a contrarian play as I am seeing a lot of Fields ownership in the Captain spot.  I will save some salary and play him as a flex.

WR, Terry McLaurin
TE, Cole Kemet

DEF Wahington

Value/Sleeper

RB, Antonio Gibson – He is only $3200 on DK and the Bears have been giving up yards to RB2. If you go with a Washington stack, he is a great value that may go under owned.
