NFL DFS: Monday Night Football Showdown Week 4

MNF DFS Showdown
Seahawks at Giants (+1.5)
O/U 47.5

Vegas has this as a pretty even game, although I prefer Seattle and their running game. Keep an eye on the Seattle TE injury status as their 2 top TE’s (Fant and Dissly) are both listed as questionable.

My Favorite Plays

Captain

RB, Kenneth Walker III – There are many ways to attack the Giants’ defense and I think most players will be looking at the passing game. I feel the spread in this game should be closer to 6 in favor of Seattle and they like to run the ball. Walker is looking for his first 100-yard game this season and this should be it.

Flex

QB, Geno Smith – The Giants are ranked 30th in DVOA against the pass and I see a scenario where Geno throws a couple of touchdowns (hopefully to Locket) and 250 yards.

QB, Daniel Jones – Seattle is not great against the pass and I think they will be playing from behind. This means a lot of passing attempts for Danny Dimes.

WR, Tyler Locket – All the Seahawk receivers are in good spots but Lockett will save you some salary and allow you to Captain Walker.

TE, Darren Waller – Waller has started slow this season, but Seattle is ranked 31st against TEs. With Barkley out, look for the Giants to scheme Waller open.

Bargains

Seattle TE,  – Keep an eye on the injury reports, but all Seattle TE’s are cheap and will see a handful of targets.

Kickers are in play tonight

Vikings HC Kevin O'Connell said J.J. McCarthy suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 2's loss to the Falcons and is unlikely to play vs. the Bengals.
O'Connell said McCarthy came into the facilities on Monday sore with an ankle sprain and added that the team doesn't anticipate him playing in Week 3's game against the Bengals. McCarthy struggled again in his second career start on Sunday night against the Falcons, throwing for 158 yards and two interceptions while also taking six sacks and losing one of his three fumbles on the night. O'Connell has already said the team is preparing Carson Wentz to start on Sunday, suggesting McCarthy missing this week is all but a lock. We'll see if anything changes when the team's first injury report is released, but for now, we would expect to see Wentz into center into a game that is now the battle between backup QBs.
