NHL DFS: 10/24/22

This is my favorite type of game slate.  6 games of evenly matched teams with high over/under’s across the board.  There really aren’t too many bad plays tonight, but let us see if we can find some advantages. I am going to focus on New Jersey which is facing a backup goalie at home and Carolina which has the best matchup.

Top Teams to Target

New Jersey Devils – The Devils started slow, but have been scoring a lot and have a nice 2 game-winning streak going.  Washington’s defense is iffy at best and they should have a backup goalie in the net tonight.  The Devils rank 13th in shots on goal.

Carolina Hurricanes – Carolina is averaging 3.4 goals per game and they face a terrible Vancouver team who is giving up 4.5 goals per game.

Dallas Stars – Dallas is one of my surprise teams so far this year. They are playing great and scoring a lot.  They have one of the best young goalies in the game, allowing them to focus more on offense.

St. Louis Blues – The Blues will be in Winnepeg where I predict a high scoring back and forth game.  St Louis has the better team and will have to shoot a lot to keep up.
