Waiver Hub – Week 16
Happy Tuesday, Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB.
Week 16 starts in a couple of days with a TNF matchup between the Rams and the Seahawks. The game is in Seattle, and the Seahawks are favored by 1.5 points with a total point over/under of 44.5.
Fantasy football is going strong, so it is time to make some moves and prepare for fantasy post season greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here is another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.
Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off waivers.
TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK
Jayden Reed – Green Bay Packers
Jayden Reed returned 2 games ago and has a total of 10 targets since his return. Christian Watson avoided a serious injury to his chest but could miss a week or 2. That opens the door up for all other pass catchers including Reed, Golden, Doubs, and Wicks. Reed is my choice as we know he is a long-time target for Love, especially in the red zone.
Quarterbacks
CJ Stroud – Houston Texans
CJ threw for 260 passing yards and 3 TDs in week 15 and ran for an added 10 yards. He gets another easy opponent in week 16 against the Raiders who just got beat 31-0 in Philly. Him and Nico could have big games again.
Running Backs
Jacory Croskey-Merritt– Washington Commanders
Bill is back! He led the Washington Commanders with 18 carries resulting in 96 rushing yards and a TD. He was the lead back while Chris Rodriguez was unable to go and made good use of it. Jacory could get more looks next game against the Eagles whose defense has been haphazard when defending RBs.
Michael Carter – Arizona Cardinals
Michael Carter had 14 carries for 56 yards and caught all 4 of his targets for 38 receiving yards. Bam Knight suffered an ankle injury and did not return and is described as a bad sprain. Carter should get more chances if Bam misses time. Next opponent is Atlanta which is middle of the pack against the run.
Wide Receivers
Jayden Reed – Green Bay Packers

Luther Burden III – Chicago Bears
Burden led the Bears with 7 targets in week 15 and turned those into 6 receptions for 84 yards which also led the team. He takes on Green Bay next who he just had 67 yards against in week 14. Keep an eye on Odunze status this week as it would boost Burden if he cannot go.
Tight Ends
Darren Waller – Miami Dolphins
Waller lit up the Steelers defense on MNF catching 7 of his 8 targets for 66 yards and 2 receiving TDs. He gets the Bengals defense next who are last in defending opposing TEs. Waller has played 6 games this season and has scored 6 TDs.
