Waiver Hub – Week 15

Happy Tuesday, Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB.

Week 15 is here, and it all gets started with a TNF matchup between the Falcons and the Buccaneers. Tampa desperately needs a win to stay atop their division while the Falcons are just looking to play well and hopefully have Drake London healthy enough to play. The Bucs are favored by 4.5 and the point total over/under is currently 44.5. My prediction is a 23-21 win for the Bucs with London and Irving both having productive games.

Fantasy football is heading to the playoffs, so it is a great time to make some moves and prepare for that championship. Injuries are inevitable so here is another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.

Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Get those available players to help your chances at advancing toward a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off waivers.

TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK

Jaylen Wright – Miami Dolphins

Wright destroyed the Jets on Sunday with 24 carries resulting in 107 rushing yards and a rushing TD. Achane hurt his ribs and his status for week 15 is unknown but questionable. The Dolphins take on the Steelers next and if Achane is to miss the game Wright has earned that RB1 role in his absence.

Quarterbacks

Marcus Mariotta – Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels returned in week 14 just to get banged up and have to leave early again. The Commanders are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention so there is no reason to have Daniels play and risk more damage. Mariotta should get the start and gets a good matchup with the Giants. He has McLaurin and Deebo at his disposal and we know Mariotta loves to run.

Running Backs

Jaylen Wright – Miami Dolphins

Blame Corum – LA Rams

Corum was my add of the week last week in waivers and is back on the list. Blake had his best performance on the season in week 14 rushing for 128 yards and rushing twice for TDs. He had 12 carries while Kyren Williams had 13. The next couple of games are not the friendliest for RBs, but splitting time is a great sign for Corum to continue his emergence.

Wide Receivers

Luther Burden III – Chicago Bears

Burden led the team with 6 targets in week 14 in the absence of Rome Odunze. He also led the team with 67 receiving yards. Bears have a tough matchup with the Browns next, but the Browns have allowed 3 WR TDs in their last 2 games. Luther is starting to make his name known and it is a wonderful time to do so in fantasy playoffs.

Jayden Reed – Green Bay Packers

Jayden returned to the field in week 14 after getting hurt way back in the first week of the season. He tied Watson with both 4 targets and 4 receptions in his return to action. Even with a tough week 15 matchup against Denver, I like Reed to become WR1 again and get more targets. Reed is typically good for a TD when him and Love are gelling and healthy.

Tight Ends

Isaiah Likely – Baltimore Ravens

Likely has 6 targets in back-to-back games for the Ravens and scored a TD in week 14. He went for 95 yards in week 13. Mark Andrews got paid last week but you would not be able to tell based off how much better Likely played than him. Likely could continue to play great with a juicy matchup against the Bengals defense.
