Happy week 14 of the 2025 NFL season! Welcome back to my weekly Start/Sit Hub! Mike here, providing you with information that can help you win your fantasy league week in and week out.

I am here every week during the fantasy football season with start and sit suggestions that can impact your team each week. My decisions as always include obvious and not so obvious picks. I would also like to clarify that my sit suggestions are based on the assumption you have or can add a player that has a better chance at success. TNF START/SIT

Cowboys @ Lions

Start – George Pickens – Thus start spot could go to both George Pickens and/or CeeDee Lamb. Detroit is not having a good year defending any WRs in fantasy and Pickens has been elite. George has 8 TDs and has at least 78 receiving yards in each of his last 7 games. CeeDee has also played well so the defense is going to have their hands full if Dak has time to throw.

Sit – Either D/ST – This game has an over/under point total of 54.5. That is a lot of potential points to be scored with the 2 offenses in the top 3 in scoring. Dallas should be able to throw, and Detroit should be able to run and throw. Neither defense sounds like a promising idea.

Woody Marks (foot) was not seen at Wednesday's practice.
Marks left Week 13's game with a foot injury but did eventually return. He finished the day with 19 attempts for 64 yards. This could just be a rest day for a banged-up player. It could also be an indication that Marks was running on adrenaline on Sunday and may be more injured than he or the team thought. Tomorrow's practice report will be more informative. Nick Chubb would take over the Houston backfield if Marks misses Week 14, though it would be hard to treat him as anything other than a low-end RB3 versus the Chiefs.

Trey Benson (knee) was not seen at Wednesday's practice.
Head coach Jonathan Gannon was noncommittal when asked about Benson's status. The young back appeared to be nearing a return from injured reserve last week, but he was downgraded to a DNP on Thursday and was ruled out the following day after another missed practice. It's possible he suffered a setback during practice. Needless to say, it doesn't look like he will be back in the lineup this week. Emari Demercado was back at practice today, giving him a shot to suit up on Sunday after missing last week's game with an ankle injury.
