Start/Sit Hub Week 13
Happy week 13 of the 2025 NFL season and happy turkey day & Black Friday! Welcome back to my weekly Start/Sit Hub! Mike here, providing you with information that can help you win your fantasy league week in and week out.
I am here every week during the fantasy football season with start and sit suggestions that can impact your team each week. My decisions as always include obvious and not so obvious picks. I would also like to clarify that my sit suggestions are based on the assumption you have or can add a player that has a better chance at success. Good luck this week and continue to check out my weekly articles.
Here are my Thursday/Friday predictions:
Lions win 31-19 with Gibbs & St. Brown TDs
Chiefs win 34-31 with Kelce & Mahomes TDs
Bengals win 27-26 with Ja’Marr & Gesicki TDs
Eagles win 34-27 with Brown & Saquon TDs
THANKSGIVING START/SIT
Packers @ Lions (DET -3, o/u total 48.5)
Start – Amon-Ra St. Brown– Amon-Ra had 45 receiving yards against Green Bay in week 1 and the Lions lost by 14. This time around I believe the Green Bay defense will be focusing most on Gibbs since he has been red hot, leaving Goff to connect with his favorite and most reliable weapon often, St. Brown.
Sit – Emanuel Wilson – Wilson was stellar filling in for Josh Jacobs. Unfortunately for Wilson owners, Jacob’s is expected back this week to play the Lions. The Lions have a top 3 rush defense this season in fantasy so Wilson would be in for a tough game regardless.
Chiefs @ Cowboys (KC -3.5, o/u total 52.5)
Start – Patrick Mahomes – It is hard to pick someone here because both offenses can light up a scoreboard and stat sheet. Going with Mahomes after he has his team resurrected and gets a Dallas defense that has seen better days. Mahomes should be able to spread the ball around and can surely keep up if it is a shootout.
Sit – Hollywood Brown – I wanted to go with Javanese Williams facing the KC defense but thought better of it and went with Hollywood. Brown has not scored since week 7 and has not eclipsed 4 targets since week 5. Dallas defense is weak, but Mahomes usually targets Kelce, Rice, and Worthy more often.
Bengals @ Ravens (BAL -7, o/u total 52.5)
Start – Chase Brown – With Joe Burrow returning from injury this week I can see the Bengals wanting to lean on Chase a bit. He has been stellar lately, especially in the pass catching game. The Raven’s defense has gotten better this season but not where they want to be so Burrow, and both Chases should have good outings.
Sit – Noah Fant – Staying away from Fant this week strictly because Mike Gesicki is healthy. Burrow can spread the ball around, but Gesicki has the more reliable history and will be taking on a bigger role with the Tee Higgins injury.
BLACK FRIDAY START/SIT
Bears @ Eagles (PHI -7, o/u total 44.5)
Start – AJ Brown – No one must have told AJ that last week was not Thanksgiving because he feasted on the Dallas defense. Hurts has gotten him the ball amid off the field drama and it is a beautiful thing. AJ has been targeted 21 times in his last 2 games combined and is coming off a 110-yard performance with a TD. Chicagos defense will have to pick their poison because Hurts, Saquon, AJ, and Smith have good matchups this week.
Sit – Kyle Monangai – Kyle is getting more action and playing well. However, he must go to Philly on Black Friday. If you look at the Eagles last 2 home games, they shut down Jahmyr Gibbs rushing and Tyrone Tracy Jr rushing. Kyle is more of a rusher while Swift takes on a receiving role which I think will be used more. I would take swift over Kyle this week if I had to take one.
The Thanksgiving and Black Friday games have ended, and all 4 underdogs got the W. Next week the TNF matchup is between the Cowboys and the Lions. Enjoy your football weekend and good luck!

START OF THE WEEK
Start – George Kittle – Kittle has been playing great football in his last few games. He has 6+ receptions in each of his last 3 with 25 total targets. He also has 3 TDs in that timeframe. He has chemistry with Purdy and will need to play well against Cleveland defense.
49ers @ Browns
Start – George Kittle – SEE START OF THE WEEK TOP OF PAGE
Sit – Ricky Pearsall – Ricky has returned to action, but his stats beg to differ. 6 targets, 3 receptions, and 6 yards in his last 2 games. Cleveland’s defense is good against opposing WRs, and Pearsall is lower on Purdy’s pecking order.
Jaguars @ Titans
Start – Travis Etienne Jr – Since the Jags week 8 BYE, Etienne has been consistent and playing great. He has been getting plenty of volume with 15+ carries each game and has scored 4 total TDs in 4 games. A threat to run and to catch against a Tennessee defense that is middle of the pack.
Sit – Tony Pollard – Tony is playing against a tough Jacksonville run stopping defense. They are top 5 in stopping opposing RBs in fantasy. While Pollard can be helpful receiving, he has been struggling to run well. 42 rushing yards in his last 2 games combined with double digit carries in both games.
Texans @ Colts
Start – Nico Collins – Nico has a nice matchup here and will be getting his starting QB CJ Stroud back to face Indianapolis. CJ will need to air it out and Nico is his best option to get points against a rushing defense like the Colts. Nico should get double digit targets.
Sit – Nick Chubb – Chubb has a bad matchup against the Colts in Indy and if that were not enough, Woody Marks is RB1 now and his workload is a lot bigger than Chubbs. Nick would need a TD to be worth starting and he has not scored since week 5.
Saints @ Dolphins
Start – Devin Neal – With Alvin Kamara ruled OUT ahead of this game, Neal is next RB up and he gets the Miami porous defense. Neal hasn’t showed us his rushing abilities too much yet, but he should get the volume, and we know he can catch the ball and run effectively. If there was a time to show out this is the time.
Sit – Ollie Gordon – Ollie is behind Achane in the depth chart and is too TD dependent in fantasy as long as Achane is healthy. Not enough volume.
Falcons @ Jets
Start – Breece Hall – Jets are going to have to continuously rely on Breece to get this offense moving. He does most of his damage through the air as a receiving HB and the Falcons are not too good defending opposing RBs in fantasy. Look for a hefty workload for Hall in this game.
Sit – Mason Taylor – Between injuries and lack of explosivity, both teams are lacking in the offensive departments. Going with Taylor here based off matchup as a TE against the Falcons defense.
Rams @ Panthers
Start – Matthew Stafford – Stafford is playing one of the best defenses against the passing game and I still love Stafford here. He has not thrown an INT since week 3 and has 25 passing TDs since. Unheard of but it is a lot easier with a healthy duo of Adams and Nacua.
Sit – Chuba Hubbard – Hubbard is clearly behind Dowdle in workload and opportunities and the Rams defensive line is playing very well. He will need to get receiving yards if he wants to impact this game.
Cardinals @ Buccaneers
Start – Jacoby Brissett – Brissett has a solid matchup against Tampa’s mid defense and has really been slinging the rock. Jacoby has 769 passing yards in his last 2 games and that has been without WR Marvin Harrison Jr who is questionable and could play in this game.
Sit – Chris Godwin – Godwin has been banged up all season and has only seen 3 games this season totaling just 61 receiving yards. The matchup is not great nor terrible, and they are saying they want to ramp up Godwin, but he is on the bench until its seen.
Vikings @ Seahawks
Start – Jaxon Smith-Njigba – JSN is matchup proof and on his way to OPOY. Bad matchup with the Vikings secondary but when your worst game of the season is a 79-yard performance I don’t think anyone is worried. Easy choice.
Sit – Jordan Mason – The Vikings are in trouble this week after losing their third consecutive loss and now goes to Seattle. Mason has been sharing the backfield with Aaron Jones, but it seems Jones has gotten more opportunities and better results. Mason is going to be playing with a new QB, and it could get ugly.
Raiders @ Chargers
Start – Ladd McConkey – Chargers need a solid performance here against Vegas at home. Herbert needs to get back to basics and that means finding easy throws to reliable targets. Ladd is exactly that so look for him to get involved early.
Sit – Geno Smith – I don’t think anyone is starting Geno but if you were this is the sign to not do so. Last time they played each other this season he threw 3 INTs and no scores.
Bills @ Steelers
Start – Kenneth Gainwell – Taking a shot on Gainwell here. Bills defense has not been great by any means, and yes Gainwell is RB2, however I could see Aaron Rodgers throwing it to Gainwell a lot. Gainwell has 42 receptions this season which is tied with DK for most on the Steelers this season.
Sit – Aaron Rodgers – Rodgers does not have a game with multiple TDs since week 8 and Buffalo is not an easy task. He is my 35th ranked QB this week and I assume the Steelers gameplan will be to run it often.
Broncos @ Commanders
Start – Troy Franklin – Troy has at least 8 targets in 5 consecutive games with 4 TDs over that time frame. Washingtons defense may be at home, but they have not been good or even satisfactory. Broncos should be able to wear them out over 4 quarters.
Sit – Jacory Croskey-Merritt – Bad matchup against one of the best defenses in the NFL and he has been getting outplayed by Chris Rodriguez. Deebo is the only Commander I would start his week.
Giants @ Patriots (MNF)
Start – Jaxson Dart – This will be a challenge for Dart playing in New England on MNF, but he has rushing capabilities, has scored plenty of rushing TDs, and the Giants pass catchers are playing well.
Sit – Devin Singletary – Singletary has another bad matchup and is not involved enough in the pass game. Giants will be throwing a bit I believe and Dart also takes away rushing opportunities.
