The Chalk Board | DFS Ownership Pivots
Moving off the chalk has always been a guide to success in DFS. Let’s explore what the simulation and projected ownership say about where we can pivot from the public and gain an edge on the field.
Quarterbacks: Ownership is spread, so let’s find the best plays regardless of ownership this week. Get in on big totals, get in on garbage time, get in on value! Maye will be the highest owned at only around 10% and in a fantastic matchup. I love him solo or with a pass catcher or two. Of the top-end guys, you can get some ownership relief with Dak with a hope for a shootout, and to a lesser degree, Lamar. I love the shoot-out potential of both QBs in the DET/NYG game, and Brissett has got to be on your radar with the same exact stack from last week.
Top End Plays: Maye, Mahome, Lamar, Hurts, Dak, Goff
Mid Range Targets: Brissett, Williams
Value: Winston
Tipsy Pick: Rodgers (I think he plays and will be ignored)
Running Backs: Chase Brown, Gibbs, and Bijan are all good chalk, great even. Wilson and Jeanty might be my least favorite chalk of the year, and I am hard-fading. I want the JAX guy who gets the most touches, and leaning Tuten for that. I want Henderson in an excellent game total. I want value in Charbonnet if Walker remains with a Q tab. Warren was cleared, and an interesting swap from the top.
Top End Pivots: Taylor (if you can fit him), Henderson, Warren
Mid Range Targets: Monty, ETN
Value Targets: Knight, Tuten
Tipsy Pick: Stevenson (just when you think a guy is locked in… somehow Stevenson returned)
Wide Receivers: Lots of consolidation at the top with St Brown, Michael Wilson, Tee Higgins, JSN, Smith, Rice, AJ Brown, etc. You won’t get many arguments against me with those! The next level will see a bunch of Jamo, Wan’Dale, and Diggs. Seems like a chalk WR week but we can find pivots.
Top End Pivots: Lamb, Jefferson, Flowers
Mid Range Targets: Pickens, Olave, Rome, Metcalf
Value Plays: Meyers, Watson/Doubs
Tipsy: Jerry Juedy (don’t throw things at me…)
Tight Ends Paying up for McBride, regardless of Chalk, is a great life decision, still. He is alone at the top of ownership.
Top End Pivots: Kelce, Bowers
Mid Range Targets: Andrews, Otton, Pitts, Henry
Values: Fannin, Barner
Tipsy: Brock Wright in a game you can play anyone and is being left out of stacks
