Start/Sit Hub Week 10

Happy week 10 of the 2025 NFL season! Welcome back to my weekly Start/Sit Hub! Mike here, providing you with information that can help you win your fantasy league week in and week out.

TNF is here and it is between the home team Denver Broncos and the away team Las Vegas Raiders. Teams are in opposite directions as the Raiders have 2 wins, but the Broncos only have 2 losses. Denver is 4-0 at home as well. The Broncos are favored by 8.5 with a point total over/under of 42.5. My prediction is a 24-13 win for Denver.

I am here every week during the fantasy football season with start and sit suggestions that can impact your team each week. My decisions as always include obvious and not so obvious picks. I would also like to clarify that my sit suggestions are based on the assumption you have or can add a player that has a better chance at success. Good luck this week and continue to check out my weekly articles.

TNF START/SIT

Start – RJ Harvey – RJ Harvey has scored a TD in 3 consecutive games and in 4 of his last 6 games. Harvey has been more productive as a pas catching RB while Dobbins is the mor reliable rushing RB. Vegas has an average defense so he could thrive catching passes or even get some more rushing opportunities if Bronco’s steam roll. I like Harvey to continue his scoring streak.

Sit – Geno Smith – Geno could be in for a rough game. He is coming off a 4 TD passing game; however, the Broncos defense is elite. The only top 5 defensive team he has faced this season was the Chargers in week 2 when he threw 3 INTs and no TDs. Denver has excelled at sacking the QB and that is exactly what I expect on TNF. Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty are the only Raiders I would play.

TNF might have been the most boring game I have seen in a while. A 10-7 victory for the Broncos in a game we all wish would have ended at halftime. Next week the TNF matchup is between the Jets and the Patriots.

BYE WEEK – BENGALS, COWBOYS, CHIEFS, TITANS

Reminder that the Falcons/Colts game is in Berlin Germany so it will be earlier in the morning on Sunday.

Some of the games I am looking forward to most in week 9 are the Patriots/Bucs, the Rams/49ers, the Steelers/Chargers, and the Eagles/Packers. Enjoy your football weekend and good luck!

START OF THE WEEK

Start – Jalen Hurts – Hurts is playing some of the best football he has which is saying something for the Superbowl MVP. Hurts has 7 TD passes and no INTs in his last 2 games and is coming fresh off a BYE. He should have all his weapons healthy, and I am sure the Eagles will want to tush push against the team that proposed a ban on the play. If Hurts can add his rushing to his outstanding passing lately, he will be unstoppable.

Falcons @ Colts (Berlin)

Start – Drake London – London is coming off his best outing of the season where he caught 3 TD passes and totaled 118 receiving yards. He has 110+ receiving yards in 3 of his last 4 games played. Colts have a good defense but can struggle with opposing WRs. Drake could be in for another big game.

Sit – Tyler Warren – Taking a chance here. Warren is coming off his lowest yardage game of his rookie season with just 26 receiving yards. Theres a great chance he could bounce back in Germany, however the Colts defense is the best in the NFL defending opposing TEs in fantasy.

Giants @ Bears

Start – Jaxson Dart – Dart has a Bears defense that is far from great giving Jaxson a great matchup. Even without Nabers and Skattebo he is still a big threat. Dart will hurt you with his feet and can also hurt you with his arm. Jaxson has 5 total TDs in his last 2 games without any INTs. Dart has 1 rushing and 1 passing TD in each of his last 4 games and in 5 of his last 6.

Sit – Tyrone Tracy – Tracy has taken over as RB1 for the Giants but has not had a great game since. He scored his lone TD back in week 7 and in his last 2 games he is averaging just 3.8 yards per carry. This is the time to get hot if you are Tracy facing the Bears defense, but now Devin Singletary is also getting involved so it is hard to trust Tracy.

Bills @ Dolphins

Start – James Cook – Cook is off any injury reports and is a full go to take on the Dolphins for a 2nd time this season. Their first meeting ended with Cook eclipsing 100 rushing yards and a score. Miami’s defense has not gotten much better if at all since then, so I expect a heavy dose of Cook once again.

Sit – Keon Coleman – The Dolphins defense lone bright spot is containing WRs. Coleman had just 20 yards in their first meeting and has just 6 targets, 5 receptions, and 47 yards in his last 2 games. Safe to bench Coleman this week.

Ravens @ Vikings

Start – Justin Jefferson – Best WR on the team and maybe the NFL. Ravens are hot on offense once again thanks to Lamar returning from injury so it will be a hill to climb for Minnesota. What better way to do that than feed your best player. Jefferson should get double digit targets once again this week as he has in 4 of his last 5 games.

Sit – Mark Andrews – Yes Mark caught 2 TD passes last game and looked great but remember those were his only receptions being targeted only 3 times throughout the game. Andrews feels like a TD or bust kind of player right now. He certainly can make his few receptions worth it, but he has only 1 game with 35+ receiving yards this season.

Browns @ Jets

Start – Quinshon Judkins – Judkins is returning from injury after a BYE week and is set to start against the Jets. This is a great matchup for Judkins who has 4 games with 80+ rushing yards and 5 rushing TDs this season as a rookie. The Jets are a mess right now so look for Quinshon to be fed heavily.

Sit – Justin Fields – Fields can always save himself with his legs, but that might be hard to do against Cleveland. He will have to worry about Myles Garrett and his playmakers around him are dwindling as the season continues. Safe to bench Fields and almost everyone from the Jets.

Patriots @ Buccaneers

Start – Cade Otton – Egbuka is the top pass catcher for the Bucs right now, but without Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, there has been opportunity for the TE to get involved more. Otton started the year slow but in his last 4 games he has at least 4 receptions and 40 receiving yards in each game. It should be the Cade, Emeka, and Tez show Sunday.

Sit – Sterling Shepard – Like I said above, it should be the Cade Otton, Emeka Egbuka, and Tez Johnson show which could mean that Shepard is not even top 3 pass catcher for Baker this week. Proceed with caution against a good Patriots defense.

Saints @ Panthers

Start – Rico Dowdle – Rico is the only Panther I can trust to start right now, especially with McMillan currently questionable. Rico has been a force to be reckoned with and is coming off a huge performance against a good Green Bay defense. Rico could hit 100 rushing yards for the 4th time in his last 6 games.

Sit – Tyler Shough – He is in at QB because it couldn’t get much worst at the position for New Orleans, but Tyler is not seemingly close to where he and the Saints want him to be. It most likely will stay the same this week against a Panthers defense that has surprised many in a good way this season. Easy sit choice.

Jaguars @ Texans

Start – Nico Collins – Nico is expected to play this week however it will be with Davis Mills under center. Mills came into the game last week when Stroud got injured, and it was clear his priority was to target their best player Nico, and it worked well for them. He will have to do more of that this week to beat the Jaguars.

Sit – Trevor Lawrence – Lawrence is about to play the best defense in the NFL when it comes to opposing QBs in fantasy this season. Houston is stout and effective. Jacksonville will also be without both Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas Jr leaving Wahington and newly acquired Meyers as the top pass catchers.

Cardinals @ Seahawks

Start – Rashid Shaheed – Obviously you’re starting Jaxon Smith-Njigba every week because the guy is a well-oiled machine, but Shaheed is an interesting option this week after just being traded to the Seahawks from the Saints. Shaheed upgraded in many ways with this trade and should get plenty of opportunity opposite of JSN. Shaheed has always been a deep pass threat, and I could see him catching a long TD in this one.

Sit – Bam Knight – Last week Bam carried the ball 9 times compared to Demercado who ran it 14 times. Demercado ran much more effectively finishing with 79 rushing yards compared to Bam’s 27. If that is any indication of what is to come, Knight is a good sit this week.

Rams @ 49ers

Start – Mathew Stafford – Stafford is playing some of the best football he has in a while. He has 9 TD passes in his last 2 games and has not thrown an INT since week 3 against the Eagles. He has 16 consecutive TD passes without turning the ball over vis INT. Puka Nacua and Davante Adams are making Stafford’s life easier.

Sit – Kendrick Bourne – Going with Bourne in my sit spot simply because the Rams defense has been elite and the 49ers have pass catchers like CMC, Jennings, and Kittle healthy and ahead of Bourne on the depth chart.

Lions @ Commanders

Start – Sam LaPorta – LaPorta has come along nicely and has been a force in his last 4 games. He has a TD reception in 3 of his last 4 games played and that includes a 92-yard performance and a 97-yard performance. Lions are loaded on offense and the attention to other stars certainly helps LaPorta go more under the radar.

Sit – Jacory Croskey-Merritt – Bill has struggled in his last few games staying under 40 rushing yards in each of those and now has to deal with a Detroit Lions defense that is top 2 in defending opposing RBs in fantasy. Bill can be electric but not lately and he usually played better with Daniels rather than Mariota.

Steelers @ Chargers

Start – Oronde Gadsden – Orande has emerged since week 6. He has scored twice in his last 4 games and is averaging 94 yards receiving per game in those 4 games. Justin Herbert clearly likes him alongside his plethora of pass catchers, and they will most likely need to establish a passing game against the Steelers who have looked better defensively.

Sit – Kimani Vidal – Vidal has either been great or has been flat since he started taking over the backfield with Hamptons injury. I’m leaning toward a flat performance against the Steelers after seeing Pittsburgh play better defensively holding Jonathan Taylor to just 45 yards rushing.

Eagles @ Packers (MNF)

Start – Jalen Hurts – SEE START OF THE WEEK TOP OF PAGE

Sit – Matthew Golden – Golden is questionable with a shoulder injury so keep an eye on his status throughout the weekend. Golden has just 15 receiving yards combined from his last 2 games and has still yet to reach the end zone in his rookie season. Tread lightly.
