Trade Hub – Week 9

Welcome back! It is Monday so it is time to talk trades in my weekly Trade Hub article. Mike here ready as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances of winning your fantasy league. I hope your season is going well, but even if is not, there is a lot of season to go.

Week 8 ends tonight with a MNF matchup between the Commanders and the Chiefs in Kansas City. Chiefs are favored by 10.5 with a point total over/under of 48.5. My predictions is a Chiefs comfortable win by a score of 34-19.

Always make sure you are aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 9 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.

PLAYERS TO BUY

Rico Dowdle – Carolina Panthers

Rico was on the sell high list last week but is now on the buy low list. He seems to be outperforming Chuba Hubbard, indicating Dowdle should continue to get at least half the opportunities for RBs in Carolina. Rico has outrushed Hubbard since Chuba returned, however Chuba did get the TD between the 2 of them in week 8.

Quinshon Judkins – Cleveland Browns

Judkins exited his game in week 8 with a shoulder injury after rushing for just 19 yards on 9 carries and caught all 3 of his targets but netted negative yardage. I would use this injury as a way to buy Quinshon low as you can adding that he has a BYE next week. Judkins should be able to return after the BYE and have a favorable schedule mobbing forward.

PLAYERS TO SELL

Troy Franklin – Denver Broncos

Troy had an electric game in week 8 catching 6 of his 8 targets for 89 yards and scored 2 TDs. The week prior he caught 3 of his 10 targets and found a way to score. This big performance came against a weak Dallas defense, and 2 of the next 3 opponents for the Broncos are good defenses in Houston and Kansas City. Not to mention still has a BYE. Franklin is a great sell high option after his latest success.

Joe Flacco – Cincinnati Bengals

Flacco has been elite in his 2 games for the Bengals since being traded. 565 passing yards and 5 TDs without any INTs. He even has 17 rushing yards and a rushing TD. If you own Flacco and don’t need the QB he could be an interesting sell high option as his success could continue, and he still has his BYE. Find that team who is struggling to use a decent QB due to injury and make them an offer they cannot refuse.
