The Chalk Board | DFS Ownership Pivots
Moving off the chalk has always been a guide to success in DFS. Let’s explore what the simulation and projected ownership say about where we can pivot from the public and gain an edge on the field.
Quarterbacks
Daniel Jones, Nix, Hurts, and Jackson lead ownership so far this week. I’m not into Jones, mostly because I like Taylor to dominate this game and have no need for the passing game. Nix is in a smash spot, and the other two are matchup-proof most weeks. This is a week to save some money because of all the high-end RBs, but if you want to build contrarian, I think you could always start with Josh Allen and get different, as I can see Josh putting up the best numbers of the week.

I really love the top options this week! The only issue I have is when you pay up for 2-3 top-priced smash RB spots, it has failed me every single time… You need all of them to hit 25+ points, and it really makes you take suboptimal choices across your lineups. I caution against this strategy. Dobbins comes in with Taylor, Bijan, Barkley, and Henry as the chalk. I like ’em all without a doubt. You simply can’t ignore CMC when he is not going to be the highest owned guy, and Achane is also on my radar with consolidated ownership on the other guys.
Top End Pivots:

Mid Range Targets:

Bargain Shots:
Davis (if Hall is out or limited)

Wide Receivers
All the IND wideouts are in the chalk this week, and as stated above, it’s a Taylor week. If your last WR comes down to it, I don’t hate them, as the matchup is good, but I will be well lower than the field on them. Flowers, DeVonte Smith, Sutton, Mims, and London are all really chalky but in great spots. I kind of love going back to the DEN stacks… I’m seeing extremely low ownership on Lamb and Chase, most likely due to all the money being tied up in Taylor and Bijan this week. Fading top-priced RBs and going the stud WR route, just might be a nice way to get different in large GGPs.
Top End Pivots:

Tight Ends
I don’t think any of the TEs are really overowned. Warren and Goedert feel the most chalky and I prefer Goedert over Warren. Great matchups for Pitts, Kincaid, Engram, and Andrews round out the “Chalk” plays. I am liking Kittle, Fannin, and always Jake Ferguson.
