Trade Hub – Week 8

Welcome back! It is Monday so it is time to talk trades in my weekly Trade Hub article. Mike here ready as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances of winning your fantasy league. I hope your season is going well, but even if is not, there is a lot of season to go.
Week 7 ends tonight with a double header of MNF matchups once again. We get the Buccaneers going to Detroit to face the Lions. Then we get the Texans traveling to Seattle to face the Seahawks. A lot of offensive star power in these games. Lions are favored by 6.5 with an over/under point total of 52.5 while the Seahawks are favored by 3.5 with a point total under/over of 41.5. My predictions are a Lions win by a score of 34-31 and a Seahawks victory by a score of 17-13.
Always make sure you are aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 8 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.
PLAYERS TO BUY
Darren Waller – Miami Dolphins
Darren Waller had a pectoral injury yesterday and left the game not to return. He did not have any stats, and the severity of his pec injury is not yet known. If his injury is not severe and will return to action sooner than later, he could be a great buy super low option, especially if you are in need of a TE with scoring upside.
Jordan Mason – Minnesota Vikings
Jordan Mason is a buy low option if you time it correctly. Aaron Jones is expected to return off the IR and play in week 8. While that might take some volume away from Mason, it should not be a lot as Mason has held his own and should be the primary lead back in Minnesota. Wait for the announcement that Aaron Jones is activated and then buy low.
PLAYERS TO SELL
Pat Freiermuth – Pittsburgh Steelers
Freiermuth had his best game of the season by far in week 7 catching 5 of 6 targets for 122 yards and 2 TDs. One of his TDs was a 68-yard play that most likely would not have happened if the defense did not mess up and leave him and actually made a decent tackle. Freiermuth is one of many TEs Rodgers has been throwing to so the consistency is nonexistent, and I would sell high if you were brave enough to own him.
Kyle Monangai – Chicago Bears
The RB rookie for the Bears rushed 13 times for 81 yards and scored a rushing TD. He also caught 2 of 3 targets for an additional 13 yards. Impressive stuff although the Bears were up double digits in this game and Kyle was in to kill time. I would use his stats this week and the lingering questionable tag on Swift lately as trade bait to sell him high as you can.
