The Chalk Board | DFS Ownership Pivot Plays

Moving off the chalk has always been a guide to success in DFS. Let’s explore what the simulation and projected ownership say about where we can pivot from the public and gain an edge on the field.

Quarterbacks
Drake Maye leads Ownership, but also projected scoring in my sim models, I’m in regardless of ownership. Daniel Jones, I think, can be pivoted off from as well as Herbert and Lawrence, who round out the top 4 owned plays this week. It’s hard to click the button, but I believe Murray will have to throw all game against Indy, and is absolutely in play with Stafford going against a terrible Baltimore D, also firmly usable. Mac Jones is going completely underlooked at his price and will make his way into a few of my lineups.

Top End Pivots:
Baker
Dak
Stafford

Mid Range Targets:
Mac Jones
Tua
Darnold

Tipsy Pick:
Bryce Young

Running Backs
CMC has scored 24 ppr points per game and has yet to have a rushing TD. That has to change, and I want on him regardless of ownership when he hits. The field is all over White, Kyren, and Josh Jacobs, all for good reason, with shout-outs to Rico Dowdle and Javonte Williams coming in on the higher-owned ends. I don’t think any of those are bad chalk, but you can find pivots. Bad chalk is Jaylen Warren, who I don’t trust back with any volume with how well Gainwell has played.

Top End Pivots:
Taylor
Achane
Jeanty

Mid Range Targets:
Judkins
Henry
ETN

Bargain Shots:
TreVeyon Henderson
Carter

Tipsy Pick:
Justice Hill
Chase Brown

Wide Receivers
Puka and JSN each week. Each week I say go with em, no arguments here to eat chalk. Juaun Jennings is climbing up ownership but I am on a complete fade. It’s hard to keep clickign Olave because he has been fine, but not great, but as a guy getting 10 targets a game a trip to the endzone fixes these woes. He is still coming in as a top own play, though. I get nervous when ultra cheap guys spike in ownership, so I am mostly not using Turpin or Austin.

Top End Pivots:
Egbuka
Adams
Pickens

Mid Range Targets:
McMillian
Waddle
Diggs
Johnston

Value Plays:
Tucker
Bond
Wicks
Fournay

Tipsy:
Ja’Marr Chase (I know, but he’s projected at under 1% owned in big tournaments…)
Michael Wilson

Tight Ends
Ownership is concentrated in Ferguson, McBride, Kraft, Warren, and the punt play in Hunter Long. I am ok with each and every one of these guys and love the Long play to open up your lineups. I am out on Juwan Johnson and I hate teh split looks Fannin and Njoku get.

Top End Pivots:
All top end are chalk

Mid Range Targets:
Waller
Henry
Mayer (If Bowers is out)

Values:
Tonges
Barner

Tipsy:
It was Long, but he is catching on.
