Trade Hub – Week 4

Welcome back! It is Monday so it is time to talk trades in my weekly Trade Hub article. Mike here ready as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances of winning your fantasy league. I hope your season is going well, but even if is not, there is a lot of season to go.

Week 3 ends tonight following a high octane MNF matchup. We get the visiting 1-1 Detroit Lions taking on the home team 1-1 Baltimore Ravens. Both teams have a devastating loss and both teams have a blowout win. There are so many offensive players in this game with fantasy relevance on both teams. The Ravens are currently favored by 4.5 with a total point over/under of 52.5. My prediction for this game is a 28-24 victory for the Ravens.

Always make sure you are aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 4 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.

PLAYERS TO BUY

Jaylen Warren – Pittsburgh Steelers

Jaylen Warren has been utilized heavily in Pittsburgh. It has been all Warren and Gainwell through 3 weeks. Warren has double digit carries in all 3 games and at least 2 to 5 receptions in each game. Warren has 43 carries compared to Gainwell’s 16. Warren is RB1 and it is clear so I would buy him low as you can and argue that Gainwell is in the picture. Steelers schedule is not the friendliest for RBs, but he is used often enough to be a starter for your fantasy team.

Ladd McConkey – LA Chargers

McConkey has not looked bad at all. The story here is that he has not caught a TD in his first 3 games, while his WR teammates Allen and Johnston have caught a combined 6 receiving TDs. I would try to buy McConkey low and expect him to start finding the end zone with the way LA is slinging the ball around.

PLAYERS TO SELL

Ricky Pearsall – San Francisco 49ers

Ricky Pearsall could be in the buy low or the sell high category depending on how you view him and his future. Ricky has been great with 2 100+ receiving yard games and 16 total receptions. If you think that production will stay the way it is then you should buy low, but if you think his production will decrease, he is a great sell high candidate. Reasons Pearsall could decrease in production are that he has teammates that will get healthy and dig into his targets eventually like Jennings and Kittle. Pearsall also must deal with Purdy and Jones depending on their health moving forward as well.

Cedric Tillman – Cleveland Browns

Tillman saw only 3 targets in week 3 and now has 100 receiving yards on the season. The reason to sell him high is because he has 2 TDs, he is 1 of 4 pass catchers with 18+ targets WR Isiah Bond is slowly getting into the picture. Lots of mouths to feed in Cleveland, but a good selling point is that they are most likely going to be playing from behind. I like Tillman and think he is a talented player, but I would not mind selling high this early.
