Happy Tuesday, Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB.
Week 3 is starting in a few days with a TNF matchup between the Dolphins and the Bills. Bills are 2-0 and favored over the Dolphins by a whopping 13.5 points with an over/under of 49.5. Lopsided to say the least.
Fantasy football is underway now, so it is time to make some moves and prepare for fantasy post season greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here is another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.
Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Go get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off of waivers.
TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK
Cedric Tillman – Cleveland Browns
Tillman is my top priority of the week! He is 2nd on the team with 15 targets this season and leads the Browns in receiving TDs with 2. He has caught a TD in consecutive games to open the season. Tillman is an electric playmaker, and Joe Flacco has been taking advantage of that. Browns are 0-2 and will have to throw a lot in most games to stay competitive. Tillman might be overshadowed by Jerry Jeudy to most, but Cedric can be that guy.
Quarterbacks
Daniel Jones – Indianapolis Colts
They are calling him Indiana Jones, and he has the Colts sitting pretty at 2-0 atop the AFC South. Jones has passed for a TD in both games thus far and has a total of 3 rushing TDs. He has vultured some rushing TDs (look away JT owners) and has nearly 600 passing yards already. Miami may have ended up as a cupcake game, but he just beat a Denver defense that is one of the NFLs best. Jones has been excellent and if you need a QB, he is widely available.
Running Backs
Bhayshul Tuten – Jacksonville Jaguars
Tuten has emerged for Jacksonville right underneath Etienne on the depth chart since the Jaguars traded Tank Bigsby. Tuten saw his carries rise from 3 in week 1 to 8 in week 2. He turned those 8 into 42 rushing yards and caught both of his targets for 32 receiving yards and a receiving TD. Tuten can also get you points in the return game if your league allows it. Some challenging opponents ahead, but he has value and is a must start if Etienne were to miss any time.
Can Skattebo – New York Giants
Cam Skattebo rushed 11 times in week 2 which led the team and was more than twice as much as Tyron Tracy who had just 5 carries. Skattebo rushed for 45 yards and found the end zone for the Giants. He has also caught 2 passes in each of his first 2 games. Tracy is still RB1 for NY, but I could see things changing if Cam can keep up the good work.
Wide Receivers
Cedric Tillman – Cleveland Browns

Troy Franklin – Denver Broncos
Troy Franklin is currently leading the Denver Broncos in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. His 1 receiving TD is tied on the team for most. Week 2 he really broke out catching 8 of his 9 targets for 89 receiving yards and a score. He also rushed once for 11 added yards. Franklin has 5 more targets than next best Sutton and 66 more receiving yards than next best Sutton.
Tight Ends
Zach Ertz – Washington Commanders
Ertz has started the season very strong for the Commanders. He has scored a TD in each of their first 2 games and has a combined total of 9 receptions for 90 receiving yards. He is 2nd to only Deebo Samuel who leads the team in receptions and receiving yards. Helps to see the Commander’s schedule looks soft coming up.
