The Chalk Board |DFS Ownership

Moving off the chalk has always been a guide to success in DFS. Let’s explore what the simulation and projected ownership say about where we can pivot from the public and gain an edge on the field.

Quarterbacks

Draftkings – Hurts and Allen are on top of projections and fairly popular but no one is really too chalky this week where I expect a diverse set of QBs in lineups. Usually in that case I just pay up and over use the top studs. Darnold looks like the highest owned this week with an easy pivot to Cousins coming off a terrible game but in a revenge narrative. I can avoid popular Kyler and Geno without a second thought. Jameis seems to already be off people’s minds,  Pittsburgh is probably a harder matchup than Denver for him but he’s cookin and I want in. Baker and O’Connell both are in play with Aiden under 5k.

Fanduel – In addition to above thoughts, Will Levis is grossly underpriced on FD

Running Backs

DraftKings – Sims are clear. They have 5 chalk plays. Kamara and Barkley at the top and the 3 backups ready for prime time, Guerrero, Charbonnet, and Allen. Guerrero and Charbs will not share much so I’m completely in if Walker sits while Allen seems more likely to split carries. I love both the top guys but easy ownership pivots to Kyren, Cook, Conner, or an almost completely over looked Aaron Jones.

Fanduel – Same advice here and on either site if Bucky is gonna be 100% im in and if for any reason he’s out, White is a no brainer.

Wide Receivers

Draftkings – lots of chalk this week. Not my favorite chalk: Jefferson,  Puka, Jennings, Ridley. Jefferson rarely pays off but I like this game, London I like more and think Mooney and Addison are in play.  Kupp and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are easy pivots there too. I’m off SF offense with Trent out and a deceptively good Bears team with a coaching change. Good chalk: Meyers (if healthy), Evans, JSN. Studs going underowned: DK, AJ Brown, Pickens, Wilson.

Fanduel – Kupp, JSN, McConkey all scream to be played.

Note: so much RB value I don’t see a reason to dive to deep down the list.

Tight Ends

Draftkings – damn the ownership, it’s pay up week. Get Brock or McBride in where you can. Kittle is way more interesting than chalk Guerrero or Jennings. Don’t touch Calcaterra and save with Patty Fry or Juwan Johnson. Pivoting from the highest ownership with Jonnu is fine too.

Fanduel – everything above all valid with Otton drawing a lot more chalk because of a crazy low price.

Defenses

Bears @ SF And go about your day.
