Trade Hub – Week 13

Happy Monday and welcome back to my weekly Trade Hub article. Mike here ready as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances of winning your fantasy league. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football.

The MNF tonight is between the 7-4 Baltimore Ravens and the 7-3 LA Chargers. The Ravens are favored by 2.5 points and the total over/under is 50.5. Justin Herbert has been playing very well lately and the Ravens are a threat every possession with Lamar and king Henry. The Harbaugh brothers will face off as we are in for a good one. My prediction is a win for LA at home by a score of 27-23.

Always make sure you’re aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 13 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.

PLAYERS TO BUY

Chase Brown – Cincinnati Bengals

Chase has been killing it both in the run game and the pass game. He is coming off his week 12 BYE and is the type of player that can win you your league. Even if the Bengals continue to lose, Brown should continue to get a hefty workload to stay competitive. Brown has 90+ total yards in each of his last 3 games.

Sam Darnold – Minnesota Vikings

Sam has reentered the chat throwing 2 TDs and no INTs in back-to-back games. He also has been a threat to tuck it and run this season. Sam gets Arizona next followed by the Falcons which both are good matchups for Sam. He might be hard to buy low or buy at all, but he has shown he is worth that QB1 spot on your fantasy roster and now is the most pivotal time if you are trying to win it all.

PLAYERS TO SELL

Baker Mayfield – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I could see Baker in both a selling and buying position but I’m going with selling here. He is playing great and has a favorable end of the season schedule. The only hiccup here is contingent on whether he throws TD passes. He has Mike Evans back, but as we saw in week 12 it doesn’t matter who you have or how easy the opponent is. Baker played great and only had a rushing TD. He didn’t throw for any and only had 1 in his prior game. Baker is a risky play with possible high reward, but if you play it safe, he is a good sell high option.

Jaylen Waddle – Miami Dolphins

Waddle finally played the way most people expected him to be playing all season. He went over the century mark in receiving yards for the first time since the season opener and he scored his second TD of the season. I would sell him now as high as you can before he has to face the Packers who have momentum and the Jets who take pride in their pass defense.
