Trade Hub – Week 12

Happy Monday and welcome back to my weekly Trade Hub article. Mike here ready as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances of winning your fantasy league. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football.

The MNF tonight is between the 6-4 Houston Texans who have Nico Collins back, and the 3-6 Dallas Cowboys who are without Dak. The Texans are favored by 7 points and the total over/under is 41.5. I think Nico Collins is going to go off as long as he stays healthy, and the Cowboys offense will continue to struggle with Cooper Rush. My prediction for this game is a victory for Houston by a score of 27-16.

Always make sure you’re aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 12 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.

PLAYERS TO BUY

Justin Herbert – LA Chargers

Herbert is on a tear right now leading the Chargers to 4 consecutive wins. He hasn’t thrown an INT in 10 weeks and has 7 passing TDs in his last 4 games. Herbert is averaging over 200 passing yards per game this season and has been showing his rushing ability lately. Justin is averaging 37 rushing yards each game in his last 4 games with a rushing TD. Herbert is playing his best football of the season right now and has some favorable matches coming up. He is worth buying if you could use a QB upgrade.

Anthony Richardson – Indianapolis Colts

This is the Anthony Richardson I hyped up prior to the season. The QB threw for a season high 272 passing yards, threw a passing TD, ran 10 times for 32 rushing yards, and he rushed for 2 TDs. By far his best fantasy game of the season. I guess it took benching the young stud QB to really get him to start playing better. Richardson has some tough matchups ahead but with his mobility he can really stand out in fantasy.

PLAYERS TO SELL

Diontae Johnson – Baltimore Ravens

DJ has struggled immensely to be fantasy relevant since he was traded to Baltimore from Carolina. Unfortunately, he has not been involved enough or made any impact in the few plays he has been involved in. He was targeted twice last game against his former team the Steelers and didn’t record a reception. I understand wanting to wait until he is more involved in the offense or has time to learn the offense, but the season isn’t stopping for him and the season is heading to a close sooner than later. Sell him if you can.

Raheem Mostert – Miami Dolphins

Mostert had an insane year last season for the Dolphins and basically the opposite this year. He led the entire NFL in rushing TDs last season compared to now when he has 2 on the season and isn’t impacting fantasy football or real-life football. He ran 3 times this last game and accrued negative yardage. Also didn’t record a target which is usually a small bright spot for him lately. Jaylen Wright who is behind Achane with Mostert has more carries and receptions this week. Mostert is on the outside looking in so trading him away would be ideal.
