Waiver Hub – Week 11

Happy Tuesday November 12, Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football throughout the season.

Last night we saw the Dolphins upset the Rams by a score of 23-15. The Rams kicked 5 field goals while Malik Washington scored the first Miami TD and Tyreek Hill accounted for the other. Both teams did not look elite with multiple turnovers. The 3-6 Dolphins get the Raiders next while the 4-5 LA Rams take on the Patriots next. The next Monday Night Football game we get is between the 6-4 Houston Texans and the 3-6 Dallas Cowboys. Both teams seem to be going in opposite directions and the Cowboys have yet to win a home game this season. The opening spread is 7.5 in favor of Houston.

It’s time to make some moves and prepare for fantasy post season greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here’s another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.

Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Go get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off of waivers.

TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK

Audric Estime – Denver Broncos

Estime has emerged in Denver of lately. In week 10 he got his biggest workload carrying the ball 14 times for 53 rushing yards. Sean Payton has expressed his confidence in Audric leading everyone to believe he will continue to grow his volume. Javonte Williams had an almost nonexistent week 10 rushing once for 1 yard and caught both his targets for 6 receiving yards. I like Estime over Williams moving forward unless the workload changes.

Quarterbacks

Bo Nix – Denver Broncos

Bo is another rookie in Denver that has been turning heads. Since throwing 4 INTs in his first 2 games, Nix has only thrown 2 in the following 8 games. Nix has 4 games with multiple TD passes and his rushing has been evident and accounted for 4 rushing TDs so far. Denver gets the Falcons followed by the Raiders which is good news for Nix and his fantasy owners.

Running Backs

Audric Estime – Denver Broncos

Jaylen Warren – Pittsburgh Steelers

Jaylen Warren set season highs in carries with 14, rushing yards with 66, and receiving yards with 29. The upcoming schedule for the Steelers is not ideal but it doesn’t hurt having a RB that has been getting a decent workload and is effective both rushing and receiving.

Wide Receivers

Jerry Jeudy – Cleveland Browns

Jerry Jeudy has a juicy matchup with New Orleans in week 11. Both Cedric Tillman and Jeudy are solid WR options to add this week but I’m going to assume Tillman is already owned. Jeudy has been targeted 19 times in his last 2 games with Jameis Winston at QB. He tallied 152 yards in those 2 games and is overdue for a receiving TD.

Ricky Pearsall – San Francisco 49ers

Ricky caught his first receiving TD of his NFL career Sunday. The rookie was targeted 6 times and caught 4 of them for 73 receiving yards and that TD. He is averaging 5 targets since returning from his shooting incident even with all of the 49ers pass catching options. 49ers get Seattle next who struggles against opposing WRs.

Tight Ends

Mike Gesicki – Cincinnati Bengals

Gesicki caught 4 passes for 30 yards in week 10 which isn’t very impressive, but he was targeted 9 times. He has been targeted 25 times in his last 3 games and totaled 203 receiving yards and 2 TDs. I like Gesicki even if Tee Higgins is able to play this Sunday against the Chargers.
