Trade Hub – Week 4

Happy Monday to all and welcome back to my weekly Trade Hub, Mike here as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances to win your fantasy league. You can follow me on twitter (@fantasyhubbard) for all things fantasy football.

Week 3 is winding down tonight with 2 MNF games. First, we have the 0-2 Jacksonville Jaguars and the 2-0 Buffalo Bills. The Bills are 4.5-point favorites with an over/under of 45.5. The other MNF game is the 1-1 Washington Commanders and the 0-2 Cincinnati Bengals. Bengals are favored by 7 points with an over/under of 46.5. This season has already shown us to expect the unexpected, but I’m definitely expecting the favored teams to win tonight. Josh Allen and company have looked good while the Jaguars have lost by a combined 8 points to the Browns and the Dolphins. The Bengals may be 0-2, but Joe Burrow and his receivers are expected to get back on track against a poor Washington defense. Joe should have both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins tonight. Washington has shown promising moments but are not where they want to be. My predictions for these games are a Buffalo win by a score of 28-20 and a Bengals win by a score of 27-18.

Make sure you are aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 4 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.

PLAYERS TO BUY

Mike Evans – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Evans trade value right now might be the lowest you will get all season and is why you should buy low ASAP. The Bucs looked bad in week 3. Evans was only targeted 3 times in this loss and caught 2 of them for 17 yards. We know Evans is a consistent performer year in and year out, so I’m not worries about him regressing. Don’t forget he had 2 TD receptions just 2 weeks ago to kick off his season. Evans has Philadelphia next, and he has scored TDs on them in the past. Eagles allowed Chris Olave over 80 receiving yards and a TD in week 3.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba – Seattle Seahawks

Jaxon is coming off a 3 target, 3 reception, 39 yards receiving game. Jaxon had a huge week 2 with a whopping 16 targets, 12 receptions, 117 yards receiving after his lowest stat line of the season week 1 where he caught both his targets for only 19 receiving yards. Well, we have seen what he is capable of, and Hess shown he has a high ceiling. Geno smith is currently 3rd in passing yards this season so you know that Smith-Njigba will continue to get his opportunities. Jaxon also led his team in WR snaps and routes ran. I would buy Jaxon if you’re able to buy low given 2 of his 3 performances thus far were not statistically ideal.

Jayden Reed – Green Bay Packers

It’s a great time to make a low offer for Jaylen Reed. He did have a decent 50 yards receiving in week 3 catching 4 of his 6 targets. In week 2 he had just 2 receptions for 9 yards. Jordan Love is expected to be back and healthy enough to start in week 4 which is why now is a great time to get Reed. They only played 1 game together this season and that resulted in a TD and 138 receiving yards. I think their connection will continue to thrive together.

PLAYERS TO SELL

Rachaad White – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

White is in my sell category because I feel like his value is continuing to decrease and it’s time to sell while you can. White has carried the ball 6 more times than Bucky Irving this season yet Bucky has 154 rushing yards compared to Whites 66 rushing yards. Rachaad has been more productive in the receiving game which is the pitch I would use to sell him assuming Bucky continues to play well.

Zach Charbonnet – Seattle Seahawks

Zach has filled in for Kenneth Walker for weeks 2 and 3 and has done an excellent job. 129 rushing yards, 47 receiving yards, and 3 rushing TDs in Walkers absence which gives him 4 total TDs this season. Sell him sky high assuming Walker goes back to RB1 responsibilities. However, Zach has done enough to hopefully stay impactful even with Walker so that’s a great selling point.
