Tonight we have an injury plaqued, low-scoring game in Las Vegas. The Chargers will be without Justin Herbert, Keenan Allen, and Mike Wiliams. The Raiders have not announced their starting Quarterback yet, Davante Adams is questionable (but expected to play) with an illness and Josh Jacobs is looking doubtful with a knee injury.

So where do we go tonight? The easiest assumption on the board is Austin Ekeler. He has the most upside and the Charger offense should run almost exclusively through him. This also means he will be heavily owned. I would not be surprised to see him top 80% in ownership. For the most part, you have to play him, even at that ownership. There will be no way to cash if he has a huge game. However, if he fails or leaves the game, and you did not play him, you are ahead of 80% of the field. It is very high risk.

Easton Stick will start for the Chargers at QB tonight. He has been the Charger’s back up since the Phillip Rivers days and knows the offense. He is not great, but they really don’t need him to be against the Raiders. I expect a lot of short throws and dump offs to Ekele. Joshua Palmer will be back this week, his first game since Week 8 and he should immediately slot in as WR1.

At the time of this writing, it is being reported that Davanta Adams will play and the Raiders QB will once again be Aidan O’Connell. It also sounds like Josh Jacobs is doubtful. Please double check inactives 90 mins prior to the game. 

With this news, I like Adams and Ameer Abdullah as my primary Raider players. Adams commands the target share and the Chargers pass defense is dismal. In fact, they are so bad Jakobi Meyers is a great pivot if you are struggling with salary. I like Abdullah over Zamir White for the reception upside, especially on DK. 

This game feels like a pre-season game. No defense and backups slinging the ball all over trying to win a spot on the roster. With how bad these defenses are I do not plan on playing them in many lineups. Instead, this feels like a kicker game to me, and I plan to have both kickers rostered heavily.
