PLAYOFFS?!?! Happy week 15 to all fantasy football friends. It is Tuesday so let’s keep striving for fantasy gold and let’s have a great week while we are at it! Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football throughout the season.
We had a double header MNF yesterday which ended up being 2 rather big upsets in the NFL. The Packers were almost 7-point favorites and fell by 2 to the Giants while the Dolphins were favored by 14, had a 13-point lead late in the game, and ended up losing by 1 point to the Titans. Both teams got a little primetime wake up call. Speaking of wake-up call, the Eagles travel to Seattle this Monday for a big MNF game that was flexed earlier this month. I think the Eagles and the Seahawks both need a win here. My early prediction is a tough win for the Eagles by a score of 27-20.
Go out and make some moves and strive for fantasy postseason greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here’s another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.
Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Go get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off of waivers.
TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK
Odell Beckham Jr – Baltimore Ravens
OBJ scored his 3rd receiving TD of the year in week 14, having all 3 of his TDs take place over his last 5 games. With Mark Andrews not around to target, Lamar Jackson seems to be liking the connection he has built with Odell. Lamar has targeted OBJ 7+ times in 4 of his last 7 games and OBJ now has a 97 receiving yard performance and a 116 receiving yard performance. Jaguars might want to keep their eyes on him in week 15.
Quarterbacks
Jake Browning – Cincinnati Bengals
Browning is on a 2-game winning streak and coming into his own on the Bengals. The game is starting to be worked around his play style in comparison to Burrows, and it seems to be helping. Jake has combined for 629 passing yards, 3 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs, and just the 1 INT. The Bengal’s scored 34 points in each of those last 2 games. He gets Minnesota next who seem to be searching for answers right now.
Joe Flacco – Cleveland Browns
If you told me, I would be writing about adding Joe Flacco to a fantasy team that’s starting the playoffs I would have called you crazy. But here we are in week 15. Joe now has 2 games under his belt and won the most recent game. In those games he has thrown for 565 passing yards and accounted for 5 passing TDs. Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore, and David Njoku are all in Flacco’s arsenal with supporting roles as well. Flacco gets the bears next and then the Texans. Not a bad 2 games.
Running Backs
Clyde Edwards-Helaire – Kansas City Chiefs
CEH and Jerick McKinnon are the 2 RBs benefiting from the injury to Isiah Pacheco that had him miss week 14. It is unclear if he will be able to play against the Patriots in week 15, so keep a close eye on that development. If Pacheco is not going to play you have both RBs to choose from most likely. Take a look at your fantasy points setting and determine if you’d rather have CEH who had 11 carries compared to McKinnon’s 4, or would you rather have Jerick who scored the rushing TD but also caught 3 passes and will most likely be the more pass-oriented RB.
Chase Brown – Cincinnati Bengals
Chase Brown has an appropriate first name after he had the Colts defense chasing him down field after he caught the 1ST TD of the game for 54 yards. He finished with 8 carries for 25 rushing yards and caught all 3 of his targets for 80 receiving yards and the receiving TD. Brown as a RB led the entire offense in receiving yards including more than Higgins and also more than Ja’Marr and Boyd combined. See how he is used against the Vikings this upcoming weekend. He you need the help at RB.
Wide Receivers
Zay Jones – Jacksonville Jaguars
Zay has had a mostly down year not being able to stay healthy and put a bunch of games together consecutively. Well, he has 4 in a row now and in week 14 he was targeted 14 times which ties his career high in targets. In week 14 only 3 players achieved 14 targets and the 2 he shared that with were Garrett Wilson and Amari Cooper. Zay has been plugged in more with Christian Kirk on IR and it shows having 22 targets in 2 games. Baltimore isn’t the greatest matchup for Jones but its nearing the end of the season and both teams are fighting for positioning.
Odell Beckham Jr – Baltimore Ravens

Noah Brown – Houston Texans
Brown had no receptions in each of his last 2 games played despite the 7 targets he received. Texans had a terrible week, but the future looks better. Week 15 Brown gets to play the Titans who are bottom 5 in the league at defending opposing WRs. With Nico Collins banged up with a calf injury, Dalton Schultz dealing with a Hamstring injury, and Tank Dell on IR, Brown might be the best and most healthy option this week for CJ Stroud.
Tight Ends
Hunter Henry – New England Patriots
Henry scored 2 TDs in week 14 which is great for fantasy but be cautious if you are pursuing him. Henry was targeted just 3 times for 40 yards when he scored twice. He had not hit 40 receiving yards since week 4, but he does lead the Patriots in receiving TDs this season with 5. 11 targets in his last 2 games is more promising.
Brevin Jordan – Houston Texans
Brevin Jordan caught all 3 of his targets in week 14 accruing 35 receiving yards. The week prior he racked up 64 receiving yards. Now Jordan has only 12 receptions on the year due to his 15 targets being so low, but he converts them and keeps keeping on. Dalton Schultz has been hindered with injuries so if he isn’t able to make it, Jordan gets another boost.
