NFL DFS: Thursday Night Football Showdown – Commanders at Bears

The Line: Commanders -1 | O/U 38

We have another stinker of a Thursday Night game but don’t expect a field goal battle like last week.

Captain/MVP Picks

Justin Fields – QB, $15,000 (DK), $16,000 (FD)

Fields is my main pick for Captain/MVP tonight.  He is coming off his best game of the year (208 yards passing, 1TD, 47 yards rushing) and he has rushed for over 47 yards in his last 3 games. Washington is also giving up the 11th most fantasy points to the QB position.

Also Consider: Carson Wentz, Terry McLaurin

FLEX Picks

Darnelle Mooney – WR, $7,600 (DK), $9,500 (FD)

Mooney has not had a touchdown this year, but that should change this week against a Commanders defense that has given up the third most TDs to the WR position.  His price also makes him a good pick, allowing you to pay up for a Washington WR….

Terry McLaurin – WR, $9,000 (DK), $13,000 (FD)

It’s just a matter of time before TD Terry has a breakout game and in a showdown slate that could make you some money. He has scored 10+ fantasy points in 4 games this year, giving him a solid floor. If he can get to 100 yards tonight it could make your lineup.

Curtis Samuel – WR, $8,200 (DK), $12,000 (FD)

Samuel has been the surprise of the Washington fantasy roster this year, and I am still shocked at his pricing.  He leads the Commanders in receptions and targets and is second in yards. In low-scoring games like this, I look for target monsters that can rack up PPR points.

Also Consider: David Montgomery, Carson Wentz

Value Picks

Bears Defense – WR, $4,000 (DK), $9,500 (FD)

Chicago’s defense is a must-play for me tonight. Carson Wentz has been sacked 20 times already this season.  Washington is giving up the 4th most fantasy points to defenses. The Bears defense has done much this year, but they should be able to sack Wentz several times.
