Playoff DFS – Saturday 1/15

Well, what a week 18 we had. Here’s our best lineup – the Tom Brady lineup we so desperately wanted to play in our high-stakes tournament. Instead, went with Big Ben and ended up with a big bust. This Brady lineup was good enough for 183rd out of 289,801, turning $5 into $75, but it also would have turned into $100,000 in the other tournament. Big Ben did not.

You play DFS long enough and you’re going to have bad beats, regrets, etc. But you also play it long enough and you’ll find the right side of variance, too. Keep on keepin’ on.

Packers signed Jordan Love to a four-year, $220 million extension.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the contract's $55 million-per-year average makes Love the highest-paid QB in NFL history and includes "a record $75M Signing Bonus plus $155M in new full guarantees." The deal comes following Love's breakout, inaugural season as the Packers' starter. He finished seventh in regular season passing yards (4,158), second in passing touchdowns (32) and tied for 21st in interceptions (11), while establishing himself as a capable dual-threat, totaling 252 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns on 49 carries. He enters 2024 with one of the NFL's deepest pass-catching corps, locked in as a fantasy football QB1.
