NFL DFS: Sunday Night Football Showdown Week 15

Spread: Washington -4.5
O/U: 41.5

After a weekend of great matchups, we finish Sunday with an NFC East battle between the New York Giants and Washington Commanders.  These two teams met a couple of weeks ago and it ended in a 20-20 tie.  I expect a similar game but I favor Washington. Since the end of October, the Giants are 1-4-1, while Washington under Taylor Heinicke has won 5 of 6 games.

Captain/MVP Picks

Terry McLaurin

With Heinicke under center, McLaurin has four games of 18-plus DK points and zero games with under 9.3 DK points. And when he last faced the Giants, he had 8 catches  for 105 yards and a TD, good for 27.5 DK Points (41.3 with the Captain boost).

Stack with Taylor Heinicke

FLEX Picks

Taylor Heinicke

In games without Deebo in the lineup going back to 2020 when Aiyuk entered the league, he’s averaging 15.4 PPR points per game.

Antonio Gibson and Brian Robinson

I can’t believe how cheap Draftkings has both of the Commander’s running backs. We can easily roster them both, owning the Washington backfield.

Over the last 4 games, Robinson has averaged 14.2 DK points, with 22 average touches and 5.15 yards per carry over the past two games.

Gibson is averaging 12 DK Points per game and has a pass-catching upside.

Richie James

With Saquon Barkley way overpriced for his recent performance (Since Week 11, 152 yards over 53 carries for 2.86 ypc), James finds himself the best of the skilled players on the Giants roster.  He has double digit fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games.

Value Picks

Kickers

Both kickers are in play as these divisional matchups tend to be tightly contested and will most likely be won by a field goal or two.

Washington Defense

In some lineups, I will have a complete Washington onslaught rostering the Washington Defense. Regardless this is still a good play as New York is the third most sacked team n football.

Recent News

Troy Franklin caught 4-of-6 targets for 44 yards in the Broncos' Week 1 win against the Titans.
Franklin operates as Denver's No. 2 receiver behind Courtland Sutton and ahead of Marvin Mims, who was held to 12 yards on three grabs. Franklin saw 23 percent of the Broncos' air yards and was second in target share behind Sutton. He could pass for a usable fantasy option in deep leagues next week against the Colts.
