NFL DFS: Thursday Night Football Week 14 Showdown

Spread: Las Vegas -6.5
O/U: 42

How the mighty have fallen!  The Rams are a shell of their championship team from last year, riddled with injuries and quite possibly starting Baker Mayfield off the street. Las Vegas is putting up points like crazy and with the Ram’s defense missing key players, this should continue.

Captain/MVP Picks

Davante Adams, WR – Raiders

Adams is on a heater, racking up 664 receiving yards and seven TDs over the past five games. I am not worried about Jalen Ramsey but his presence may keep ownership down. Adams is entering Week 14 with the highest total air yards on his targets.

FLEX Picks

Derrick Carr, QB – Raiders

We are going to stack the Raiders tonight.  Carr has finished as a top-15 fantasy QB in each of the past five weeks, throwing for at least two touchdowns per game over that stretch. You may think they will jump out to a big lead and run the ball, but I think Carr still gets his 2 TDs and 250 yards.

Foster Moreau, TE – Raiders

It looks like Darren Waller will miss another week, so we will continue to roster Moreau. He is seeing red zone targets and the Rams have given up 5 TD’s in the last 6 weeks to the position.

Raiders Defense

I really don’t see much out of the Rams tonight so I will be rostering the Raiders D in most lineups. The Ram’s offensive line is swiss cheese and they have a good chance at an interception or two.

Value Picks

TuTu Atwell, WR – Rams

A nice low-cost option with upside is TuTu Atwell. Last week he saw 49% of the snaps and 5 targets.

Kickers

Both kickers are in play, but I lean toward John Carlson for the Raiders, completing a 5-1 stack.

Will Braelon Allen Lead The Jets In Rushing?
The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt's "bold prediction" for the Jets' 2025 season is that RB Braelon Allen leads the team in rushing. "There s an assumption that Breece Hall is the Jets top running back but when the games start and Aaron Glenn and Tanner Engstrand start divvying up the carries, I truly think at some point (perhaps early) Allen will become the predominant ball carrier in the running back room," Rosenblatt writes.
