Tonight’s Monday Night Football contest is being played in Mexico City. There are a lot of injuries, especially on the Cardinals, so make sure you are ready to adjust lineups. We know Kyler Murray and Hollywood Brown will be out, but DeAndre Hopkins is listed as questionable.

Christian McCaffrey will be the chalk tonight, with good reason, he has the most talent on the field. I really want to try and win this thing with the least amount of chops possible, so tonight I am going slightly contrarian at captain.

Captain/MVP

Brandon Aiyuck, WR – San Francisco
Aiyuk has been Jimmy Garoppolo’s favorite option in the passing game over the past four games, with 34 targets. He dropped a TD last week and Jimmy G looks for him in the Red Zone. He has good separation and should be able to take advantage of the Cardinal’s secondary. On DK he offers a massive $5700 discount over CMC in the Captain spot.

Flex Players

Christain McCaffrey, RB – San Francisco
DeAndre Hopkins, WR – Arizona
George Kittle, TE – San Francisco
Jimmy Garoppolo, QB – San Francisco

There is chalk and there is good chalk. McCaffrey and Hopkins are good chalk and as such a must-play combo. You then need to make a choice between Kittle and Jimmy G. Kittle will probably be highly owned since Arizona is the second-worst team against the TE position. Kittle also offers a discount over Jimmy G, which could allow you to roster Connor or Rondale Moore. With that said I am going to give you a value play that will allow you to roster everyone listed above……

Value Plays

Trey McBride, TE – Arizona

With Zach Ertz out indefinitely, McBride assumes a top TE spot. Last week with Ertz out of the game, he played 91% of offensive plays. I fully expect an uptick in targets and at only $1000 on DK, you only need a couple of catches to make value.
