Prize Picks is a (new to me) site that allows you the thrill to pick fantasy players and root for or against guys in every game, without the fear of going up against DFS professionals or massive multi-entry players.

Simply pick a selection of 2, 3, or 4 players and decide whether they will go over or under their fantasy points projection. No other entries to fight against, no optimal lineup builders to outsmart. You evaluate a game and the situation for individual players and place your picks!

Follow live: Cowboys-Eagles season opener resumes play after weather delay
null
(Sep 5 -- ESPN)

Saquon Barkley rushed 18 times for 60 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' Week 1 win over the Cowboys, adding four receptions for 24 yards.
Barkley's 60 yards rushing would have been the second lowest total of his sensational 2024. He at least compensated with the touchdown, and also made a spectacular one-handed catch. Although he watched Jalen Hurts take touchdowns on the ground, the Eagles attempted only 23 passes. This remains a run-based offense with Barkley at the center. Repeating last year's towering efficiency and compiling marks probably isn't in the cards, but Barkley still has as good of a chance as any back to finish as the RB1 overall. A Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs awaits for Week 2.
(Sep 5 -- NBC Sports)

A.J. Brown turned his lone target into an eight-yard reception in the Eagles' Week 1 win over the Cowboys.
You are not seeing things. Brown went 58 minutes without a target, finally corralling his lone look at the 1:51 mark of the fourth quarter. As was usual last season, Jalen Hurts attempted only 23 passes, but he managed to look No. 3 Jahan Dotson's way three times. Saquon Barkley also drew five looks. We're not film watchers, but Brown didn't seem to be running free. He was either frustrated by sticky coverage or given to decoy usage this evening. It's an awful way to start the season for fantasy managers, but players like Brown don't stay down for long. He gets a Week 2 Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs.
(Sep 5 -- NBC Sports)

Dak Prescott completed 21-of-34 passes for 188 scoreless yards in the Cowboys' 24-20, Week 1 loss to the Eagles,
It's an unimpressive box score, but one that belies just how good Prescott was against a shaky Eagles secondary. His wideouts drew several DPIs, including one in the end zone by CeeDee Lamb and a 34-yarder by George Pickens. Frustratingly, Lamb also committed many brutal drops, including two of the Cowboys' last-ditch final series. One was particularly egregious, with Lamb letting a deep target bounce directly off the numbers. Frustrating, but Prescott was moving well after last year's hamstring tear and firing lasers. He looks like he will be just fine after last year's early-season struggles and subsequent injury woes. He now has 10 days to rest up for a Week 2 matchup with the Giants.
(Sep 5 -- NBC Sports)

CeeDee Lamb caught 7-of-13 targets for 110 yards in the Cowboys' Week 1 loss to the Eagles.
It's a strong box score for the WR1, but one that hides 3-4 drops, two of which came on the Cowboys' futile final series. Although one would have been a difficult diving catch, the other was a long strike that hit him right in the numbers. Brutal. Lamb visited the blue injury tent after the series but appeared no worse for the wear on the sideline, where he was indicating to teammates his displeasure with the drops. These things happen. In addition to the cough-ups, Lamb's box score would also fail to reveal the end zone DPI he drew to set up a Javonte Williams touchdown plunge. He drew another DPI late in the first half. Fantasy managers and Cowboys fans will lament what might have been, but 7/110 is what first-round drafters were hoping for. The Cowboys now have 10 days to rest up for the Giants in Week 2.
