Trade Hub – Week 16

Happy Monday and welcome back to my weekly Trade Hub article. Mike here ready as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances of winning your fantasy league. I hope you are in the fantasy playoffs, but if not, there are still consolation games and daily fantasy.

Tonight, we are lucky enough to get 2 MNF games to finish out the first fantasy playoff week. We get the 4-9 Bears against the 11-2 Vikings and then the 6-7 Falcons against the 2-11 Raiders. Vikings are favored by 7 with a total over/under of 43.5 points and the Falcons are favored by 6.5 points with a total over/under of 44.5. My prediction for these games are a Vikings win by a score of 26-16 and the Falcons win by a score of 20-19. I like the Raiders to upset the Falcons but without Maxx Crosby it is a tall order.

Always make sure you’re aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 16 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.

PLAYERS TO BUY

Tyreek Hill – Miami Dolphins

This is a big risk on the seller and on the buyer. Hill has a high ceiling with 100-yard games in his repertoire but believe it or not he has had a ton of dud performances this season with and without Tua. He is coming off 36-yard performance which is his 7th game this season where he was held to under 50 receiving yards in a game. SF is a tough matchupo which helps your case to buy low.

Travis Kelce – Kansas City Chiefs

Travis Kelce heated up midseason and has cooled off since. He has 3 games with 45 or less receiving yards in his last 5 games and no TDs. All 5 of his last games were held under 70 yards without a score. It is tough when your back up Noah Gray is vulturing TDs left and right, but it makes it easier to buy him low with all of that happening. Chiefs are in playoff mode basically so Kelce should get back to a hot streak, just keep in mind Patrick Mahomes has a lingering injury.

PLAYERS TO SELL

Rashod Bateman – Baltimore Ravens

Bateman is on a mini tear scoring 4 TDs in his last 4 games and coming off his 2nd highest receiving yards in a game this season with 80. After that momentous game it’s a great spot to sit him before he has to face the Steelers again in week 16. He only mustered 30 receiving yards and no scores in their first meeting. Ravens are full of weapons at most positions, so his consistency is a concern when he has only one game with more than 3 receptions since week 7.

Rachaad White – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

White played well in week 15 with 64 rushing yards and 17 receiving yards and a score by reception. He has scored in back-to-back weeks in the receiving game and had an additional rushing TD in week 14. Bucky Irving is/was dealing with an injury that didn’t hold him back in week 15. Week 16 is a matchup with Dallas which is a great pitch if you want to get rid of White for something a little better. Bucky is expected to play in week 16.
