Happy Tuesday November 19, Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football throughout the season.
MNF last night ended with a score of 34-10 in favor of the Houston Texans. The Cowboys looked very bad and at times were beating themselves. Joe Mixon did the heavy lifting for Houston rushing for 109 yards and scoring 3 rushing TDs. Cooper Rush threw for 354 yards but could only muster 1 score. Houston takes on Tennessee next while the Cowboys have Washington next. Next week’s MNF game is between the Ravens and the Chargers.
It’s time to make some moves and prepare for fantasy post season greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here’s another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.
Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Go get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off of waivers.
TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK
Anthony Richardson – Indianapolis Colts
Richardson took full advantage of his starter position this week after having lost it to Flacco earlier in the season. Anthony looked like the QB we got glimpses of last season prior to a bad injury. He threw for 272 passing yards and rushed for 32 yards. He threw 1 passing TD and ran for 2 rushing TDs. Is Richardson back to producing? His schedule isn’t easy ahead but with his mobility it’s hard to resist his upside.
Quarterbacks
Bo Nix – Denver Broncos
Bo Nix is on here again and for good reason. If he is still available in your league you might want to acquire him. In a game against Atlanta the rookie QB set career highs in passing yards with 307 and in passing TDs with 4. Nix is a mobile QB but this week he only had 2 carries because he let his arm do all the talking. Keep in mind his BYE week isn’t until week 14, but his schedule is appealing and the Broncos are looking great offensively.

Running Backs
Roschon Johnson – Chicago Bears
Johnson had 10 carries in the debut of Chicago’s new offensive coordinator Thomas Brown. He ended with a season high 33 rushing yards and also caught an 8-yard pass. Both Swift and Johnson had double digit carries, and it appears they will both be a part of the offense moving forward. Worth noting Roschon has 5 rushing TDs this season.
Cam Akers – Minnesota Vikings
Akers carried the ball 10 times in week 11 which is his 5th game this season with at least 9 carries. This coming in a game where Aaron Jones was healthy and carried the ball 15 times himself. Akers only finished with 25 rushing yards but the impact he made was in the pass game. He caught both his targets for 11 yards and scored a receiving TD. Akers isn’t going away quietly and has a favorable schedule ahead. He is worth a roster spot and his stock will rise a lot if Aaron Jones gets hurt or needs to miss time.
Wide Receivers
Wan’Dale Robinson – New York Giants
Wan’Dale is coming off of a BYE week but has been targeted an average of over 8 times per game this season. That was with Daniel Jones at QB who has officially been benched in favor of Tommy DeVito. DeVito and Robinson had good chemistry together last season and have a soft schedule approaching. Robinson is worth rostering with Jones sidelined.
Christian Watson – Green Bay Packers
Watson set a new career high in receiving yards in week 11 accruing 150 receiving yards and that was just with 4 receptions. He caught all 4 of his targets. Watson and Love have multiyear chemistry, and it showed in week 11. With Jordan Love behind center I like Watson to produce weekly, especially now that the playoffs are close and teams want their go to players producing.
Tight Ends
Will Dissly – LA Chargers
Dissly has 5 or more targets and 4 or more catches in 5 of his last 6 games. Chargers’ offense is rolling with Justin Herbert right now. Dissly had 80 receiving yards which is the second time he has done so this season and he caught a receiving TD. Dissly has a good remaining schedule for the TE position and it is clear he is a big part of the offense.
