Happy Monday and welcome back to my weekly Trade Hub article. Mike here ready as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances of winning your fantasy league. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football.
The Monday Night Football matchups we get tonight are between the Ravens/Buccaneers and the Chargers/Cardinals. Ravens are favored by 4 with an over/under total of 49.5 and the Chargers are favored by 1 with an over/under total of 44.5. My prediction for these games are a 31-27 win for Baltimore and a 20-13 win for LA.
Always make sure you’re aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 8 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.
PLAYERS TO BUY
Chase Brown – Cincinnati Bengals
Chase Brown is continuously taking over the backfield after being behind Zach Moss for the better part of the beginning of the season. Chase has now taken over and is the RB1 who is getting most of the 1st and 2nd down carries. Zach Moss has been primarily used in the pass game lately. I believe Brown is a good buy low option as his takeover is getting more apparent and maybe his role could grow even more.
DeVon Achane – Miami Dolphins
Achane has been RB1 even with Raheem Mostert and Jaylen Wright in the picture. Tua is planning to return to the field next week if all goes well which should immediately increase Achane’s chances as the offense starts to flow again. Achane has some juicy matchups coming up against the Cardinals, Bills, Rams, Raiders, and Patriots all in that order. Achane should continue to stay RB1 and buying low is a great idea.
PLAYERS TO SELL
Hunter Henry – New England Patriots
Hunter Henry has benefited nicely from the QB change to Drake Maye in New England. He scored a week ago and then caught 8 of 9 targets this week for 92 receiving yards. Henry seems like a safety net for Maye which is a great selling point. Problem with Henry is that most of his future opponents are great against opposing TEs, starting with the Jets and Titans. If you own Henry, it’s a great time to try to unload him.
Keon Coleman – Buffalo Bills
Keon Coleman caught 4 of his 7 targets for 125 receiving yards all with Amari Cooper playing his first game with Buffalo. Will the addition of Amari to this offense take away opportunities from Coleman or does his presence open up more opportunity? Either way it doesn’t seem likely Keon will continue this moving forward. He had 4 receptions which tied his season high, and his 7 targets and 125 yards were both season highs. Buffalo’s opponents moving forward are good against opposing WRs so this might be an elite time to sell high.
