Waiver Hub – Week 11

Happy week 11 everyone! Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football throughout the season.

So, we got the Bills and Broncos last night. What a weird game. The Bills should be in panic mode after a 2-point loss at home in primetime to the Broncos. The Broncos deserved the win more in my opinion, but turnovers seem to be the big issue for Allen and the Buffalo offense. Most of the Bill’s production came rushing the ball, and not throwing as much, especially with 2 more INTs last night. Denver seems to be peaking after an epically bad start to the season. Bills will be looking for answers against the Jets next, while Denver has a date with Dobbs and the Vikings. That should be a good game. Next Monday we get an awesome showdown between the Eagles and the Chiefs in Kansas City. This is a rematch of the Superbowl last season so it shouldn’t disappoint. The line is in favor of KC by 3 points with an over/under of 45.5.

The upcoming TNF game this week goes to the Bengals and Ravens. Love a good divisional matchup like that. This is a must win for the Bengals if they want a chance to take the division this season. The line is -3.5 in favor of the home team Ravens with an over/under of 46.5.

Go out and make some moves and prepare for fantasy postseason greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here’s another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.

Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Go get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off of waivers.

TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK

Josh Dobbs – Minnesota Vikings

Josh Dobbs has already started at QB for 2 teams this season but is currently a Viking. He has 2 games under his belt with Minnesota which resulted in 2 wins. Dobbs has used his legs a lot and has scored a rushing TD in each of his last 4 games in the NFL with a total of 5 this season. Dobbs has 3 passing TDs in his 2 Viking games with no INTs and 110 rushing yards. Dobbs gets the Broncos and then the Bears which are solid matchups for Dobbs to continue his fantasy appeal. Dobbs is an excellent insurance QB to have on your bench if needed. Did I mention he will have Justin Jefferson back soon…

Quarterbacks

Josh Dobbs – Minnesota Vikings

Jordan Love – Green Bay Packers

Love has been okay this season but nothing to marvel over. He has a passing TD in all but 1 game this season and is a threat to use his legs once and a while. The real appeal here for Love is that he gets the Chargers next. Chargers have allowed a lot of fantasy points to opposing QBs this season. Love would be a decent addition to your team in week 11 if you are in need of a QB.

Running Backs

Devin Singletary – Houston Texans

Singletary got RB1 reps in week 10 due to the absence of Dameon Pierce. Singletary did not disappoint with his opportunity. The ex-Bill not only scored a rushing TD, but he also set career highs in carries and rushing yards. Devin rushed 30 times for Houston and finished the night with 150 rushing yards and threw in 11 receiving yards for good measure. It is unclear if Dameon Pierce will be healthy enough to play after his ankle problems, but I think Houston will feed the hot hand and take advantage of an Arizona Cardinals defense that needs some work.

Ty Chandler – Minnesota Vikings

Ty Chandler rushed 15 times in week 10 and accrued 45 rushing yards and found the end zone for a rushing TD. All 3 f those statistics are career highs for the 2nd year man out of North Carolina. Keep an eye on Alexander Mattison this week due to the fact that he left their last game due to a possible concussion. Mattison is in concussion protocol making Chandler more appealing. Cam Akers is on IR, so Chandler has got some opportunity to work with. Bring on Denver.

Wide Receivers

Noah Brown – Houston Texans

Noah Brown is proving that he is no one hit wonder. The talented WR is just proving to be another lethal option for the most likely rookie of the year CJ Stroud. Brown has played in each if the Texans last 4 games and his targets, receptions, and receiving yards have all stayed the same or increased each week. After a 37-yard and a 57-yard performance in weeks 6 and 8, Brown snapped for 153 receiving yards in week 9 followed by an unheard of 172 receiving yards in week 10. How will he play against Arizona next and will Nico Collins play? Monitor closely but Brown is absolutely worth an add.

Brandin Cooks – Dallas Cowboys

Brandin Cooks is starting to look more comfortable in Dallas. He has scored a receiving TD in 3 of his last 4 games and is coming off a 173-yard performance over the Giants. That is the most receiving yards for Cooks since the 2016 season. He has 4+ targets in all but 1 of his games. Cooks can only go as far as Dak Prescott takes him and currently Dak is delivering. Panthers are next for Dallas which isn’t the best WR matchup, but after that they get Washington, Seattle, and Philly. All teams you can throw heavily on.

Demario Douglas – New England Patriots

Welcome back to the waiver HUB Demario. The Patriots have to throw the ball and that requires someone to throw to. Douglas led the team in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. It’s too bad the Patriots couldn’t muster a TD. Douglas has 6+ targets in 5 games this season including each of his last 4. The Patriots are on a BYE this week so if you’re asking why scoop him up now, my answer would be so no one else gets him, and his next 3 matchups are in favor of him.

Tight Ends

Pat Freiermuth – Pittsburgh Steelers

Pat Freiermuth is back on my waiver list after quite the hiatus. He is set to return to the field coming off IR this week after not playing a snap since week 4. Pat did have 2 TDs in his 4 games played this season. The Steelers offense needs a lot of improvement and I think he can provide some help there, especially in red zone situations.

Luke Musgraves – Green Bay Packers

Musgraves continues his up and down season with Green Bay. The rookie TE recorded 64 receiving yards off of 2 receptions and 4 targets. Luke now has hit 49+ receiving yards in 4 games this season including each of his last 2 games. Musgraves scored his 1st TD of the season in week 9 and with his next 2 opponents being the Chargers and the Lions, Luke has favorable matchups in the TE position.
