DFS Special – Week 15 – SATURDAY SLATE

Note: Sunday Building Blocks will be posted late afternoon Saturday.

Nice little three-game slate on a Saturday. Best part about this slate is that it narrows our Sunday slate giving us an advantage over the field tomorrow as well.

As always, treat these small slates like single-game slates trying to find the low-owned pieces that probably won’t put up monster performances, but who, if the other games and players disappoint, could leapfrog you to the top of the leaderboard.

On slates like these, ownership is lopsided when compared to the probability of the players putting up tournament-winning scores. Ownership today will be in the obvious, name-recognition places.

Josh Allen, Kirk Cousins, Jonathan Taylor, Nick Chubb, Justin Jefferson, Stefon Diggs, Michael Pittman, Hockenson, Andrews.

Then some other names that are big names but in even tougher spots but are still drawing high ownership due to the perceived lack of other options.

Dalvin Cook, Tyreek Hill.

The way to target this week is to overstack a game, maybe Bills and Dolphins if you want to go chalkier and build around studs. Or a Bills offense + Bills defense stack that completely fades the Dolphins. But I’ll be going the low-owned route and starting with Huntley + Andrews. They were a bust last week, so people have forgotten even more their big games last year, and don’t want to play them on a short slate. I’ll even add Dobbins to the stack. I’ll skip Chubb, although I don’t hate that play, and instead go back to Hunt this week. And I’ll add Cooper. I may do one other just swapping Huntley for Watson. I’ll play around with the other pieces and defense, but I’m playing for first place, knowing I could get last place. I’m also willing to leave salary on the table in this lineup as anyone else stacking up this game is going to end up with at least one stud WR because of the salary relief the other players provide. I’ll differentiate even further by leaving that stud off my lineup – think Thielen instead of Jefferson, or Pierce instead or Pittman, or Davis instead of Diggs. For the record, I do like Diggs more than any of the other WR options this week.

Don’t go crazy with your bankroll today. Just build a few fun lineups that could hit if your lineup story comes to fruition.

Good luck!
