NFL DFS: Monday Night Football Week 13 Showdown

Spread: Tampa -3
O/U: 41

Tonight we have New Orleans at Tampa Bay to finish off Week 13.  As the spread shows, we expect this to be a low-scoring, tightly-contested game. Earlier this year, this matchup was 3-3 heading into the 4th quarter.

Captain/MVP Picks

Chris Olave, WR – New Orleans

I am going a little different from what most people are talking about in the Captain slot.  Most people will have Brady, Godwin, or Kamara in this spot, but with Juan Johnson out for New Orleans, more targets should head Olave’s way. And on DK he’s cheaper than Andy Dalton.

FLEX Picks

Chris Godwin, WR – Tampa

Godwin has been seeing a ton of targets, with 55 targets over his last five games, including 13 targets last week against the Browns. With Mike Evans not able to do anything against Lattimore, Godwin should see all the targets.

Alvin Kamara, RB – New Orleans

At some point, the Saints have to wake up and use their best player. He did not play in the Week 2 game and Dalton is going to be lacking players to target.

Rachaad White, RD – Tampa

This is a tough matchup for the rookie running back, but Tampa wants to run the ball.  Fournette may play but should be limited with a sore ankle.  White is cheap on both sites and should see a high volume of carries.

Value Picks

Julio Jones, WR – Tampa

Julio is cheap and Brady is targeting him 4-5 times a game.  He is a good dart throw to get a TD.

Defense and Kickers

Both defenses and kickers are in play tonight.  As I said in the intro these teams play close and I could see this being a 13-10 game.

Jayden Reed Had Collarbone And Foot Surgeries
Packers WR Jayden Reed said on social media Tuesday that he had successful surgeries on his collarbone and foot. We knew he was getting his broken collarbone fixed, but Reed also addressed what's been reported as a Jones fracture in his left foot. It's unclear if that surgery changes Reed's 6-8 week timetable for return. We'll look for further updates on his status. Reed is not a must-hold in fantasy leagues with shallow benches.
