Trade Hub – Week 12

Welcome back to my weekly trade HUB article. I hope your weekend was full of football and full of fantasy points. Mike Hubbard Jr here, ready as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances of winning your fantasy league. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football. Feel free to tweet me or message me with any comments or questions you might have regarding fantasy football.

Week 11 is ending tonight with a MNF matchup between the 5-4 San Francisco 49ers and the 4-6 Arizona Cardinals. The game is in Arizona, but the 49ers are 10-point favorites and the over/under is currently 43. Marquise Brown is on IR, Kyler Murray is questionable, and now DeAndre Hopkins is also questionable. Too much missing for the Cardinals, while the 49ers look a lot better than their record suggests. SF should be able to win their 3rd consecutive game tonight with the help of their star-studded roster. My prediction for this game is a 49ers victory by a score of 20-16.

Make sure you’re aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 11 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.

PLAYERS TO BUY

Khalil Herbert – Chicago Bears

Herbert may be on IR but if you can buy him low you might just get a steal come fantasy playoffs. Herbert has played well when healthy and gets a prime matchup with the Lions in week 17. Herbert has more rushing yards and TDs than David Montgomery, only the stud Justin Fields has more rushing yards. If you have a spot available on your bench or IR, Herbert could be a great buy super low candidate just in time to get you that championship performance.

Michael Carter – New York Jets

Carter had a rough outing yesterday in a 10-3 loss to the Patriots. Jets failed to get any rhythm going rushing the ball. Upcoming games favor Carter moving forward, and I believe he will have the upper hand in the rushing game over James Robinson barring any setbacks. Jets have the easiest remaining schedule for RBs. Worth buying low.

Rhamondre Stevenson – New England Patriots

Stevenson didn’t have the best game carrying the ball yesterday. He rushed 15 times but only reached 26 yards. He was effective in the pass game caching all 6 of his targets for 56 yards. Damien Harris is back in the mix; however, I believe it’s still Rhamondre’s backfield to dominate. He has double digit carries in every game since week 3. Patriots have good matchups for Stevenson moving forward with the exceptions of a game against Buffalo.

PLAYERS TO SELL

Tony Pollard – Dallas Cowboys

Pollard is a sell sky high candidate for me. Pollard had the same number of rushes as Zeke but outgained him 80 yards to 42. He is great without Zeke and just as great with Zeke. However, Zeke is gaining his health back which could limit Pollards touches in games coming up. Certainly, risky trying to sell a RB that has killed it this season, but that being said he could be worth a lot, A RB1 or WR1 would be worth pursuing.

Joshua Palmer – LA Chargers

Palmer has gained a lot of momentum for himself and Justin Herbert. Palmer has been getting plentiful targets and cashing them in. His last 4 games played he had 12, 10, 8, 10 targets and 3 of those 4 games he caught 8+ of those targets. He finished with 106 receiving yards which was identical to his stats back in week 9, however this time he found the end zone 2 times. Herbert has Mike Williams and Keenan Allen back on the field which unfortunately could hurt Palmer’s ceiling. Mike Williams only had 1 catch and had to exit the game, so his status remains unclear. Palmer should get you some great players if you are willing to sell him after his 100+ yards and 2 TD performance.

Daniel Jones – New York Giants

Despite throwing 2 INTs, Jones had a solid fantasy day yesterday in a loss to Detroit. He threw for 341 yards and had 1 passing TD. He also gained 50 yards rushing and scored 1 rushing TD. Jones set season highs in passing attempts, passing completions, and passing yards mainly due to the fact they were trailing a lot of the game. Next week Jones gets Dallas who has a solid defense; however I believe the Cowboys will be able to score plenty of points making it inevitable that Jones will have to make things happen with his arm. Use his passing and rushing TD performance and sell Jones high.

Tre Tucker caught 3-of-8 passes for 12 yards in the Chargers' Week 2 loss to the Chargers.
Geno Smith was wholly ineffective Monday night, and Tucker was one of a few Las Vegas receivers who didn't have much success on a night where the Raiders didn't complete a single pass thrown over 10 yards. It's worth noting that Tucker doubled the targets of Dont'e Thornton (one catch, 20 yards on four passes thrown his way), and he's pretty clearly the WR2 on the Raiders' for now. He's nowhere close to that range from a fantasy perspective for Week 3 against the Commanders.
